Rented it last night and may end up buying it today. Pretty fun. Very different from CoD. Is the campaign fun? Just finished Infinite Warfare campaign and it was awesome
I enjoyed the campaign. They give you a few different ways to play it; sneaky or balls out. It's a good way to get used to the battlefield gameplay if you are unfamiliar with it.
Yeah completely unfamiliar with it. I get wasted with anything other than support in multi. My friend is a legit badass sniper but I just unlocked the Russian one and still can't do shit. He will go like 52-6
I like the m95 optical and smle optical. Good short to midrange rifles. Look at the damage graphs, each gun does max damage at different ranges. The m95 is the fastest chambering bolt action so it's good for close combat.
Yeah I've gotten the best gun for every class. I started the game as a snipe and have zero fucking clue how I got to ten on that. Beyond that I tried the best sniper and I love the thing but I cannot get the distances down to save my life. Last one I just picked up 10 on is assualt and I now can't stand another class. That hellreigel is a beast.
Use the automatico and turn that hellreigel into a BB gun. I have some of best my games with support. A well placed bipod MG while defending on operations can shut shit down.
You know, I can never get mine to fucking come out from under my gun. My PS4 tells me, press O. I've pressed it, held it, smashed it and never once got that fucker out.
some dude last night apparently has 6,000 kills with the fucking bar. im going to start looking into that lol.
I don't think you have to press a button to deploy a bipod. You either have to be prone or looking over an object that you can put it on (like a window sill).
Ahhh, always says to me press O. Thought you had to deploy and put it away but I never understood why the dude couldn't run with it open.
Ya the bipod is really easy to use. In BF4 there was an animation and left trigger half pull that had to happen to deploy it. Just get up against a ledge and aim now.
I ended up buying the game. Been using support and that Russian sniper based on that's what my buddy uses. He snipes at like hundreds of yards though.
Conquest and operations are nothing more than capture the flag on a large scale. Conquest takes about 20 minutes or so operations 30-40 sometimes shorter or even longer. Domination is capture the flag taking less than 10 minutes and you know what team death match is. Other game types I don't really fuck with.
Pick whatever you want. Have to get each class to 10 and as you increase rank within each class you can upgrade your weapon.
Yes. Assault is good at taking out vehicles and overall attack play. Medic revives and drops health packs. Support offers suppression and drops ammo. Scout is good at recon, use spot flares. Each class has a role to support the squad and team. Pick one that has the guns you're most comfortable with then use the equipment with that class to support your team. Also look at what other people in your squad are playing so you're not all the same. Ex. If no one is playing medic, play medic so you can keep your team alive. Ex. I like bolt action rifles so I play scout. I play with the smle optical or m95 optical because I like to play at about the 50-75 yard range supporting my squad. Drop some spot flares in the area your team is attacking, leave some tripwire mines behind you so you don't get stabbed, and rack up the points.
Yup and to add to that, if your getting destroyed by a tank, switch to assualt. It's so easy to take a tank down from range with an anti tank gun. Also you get all those kills from whoever was inside. Then go back to medic or support and resume your normal activities.
That helps a bit thanks. Still think I'll try to find a tutorial on YouTube or something. I don't know how to pick a squad or anything like that. Also don't know how to track my squad members yet so I can tell where they are. I'll figure it out.
You'll see on the screen where you select their class everyone has a symbol. Same screen before the game loads or when you die you can select your squad. Sometimes you'll be in a squad of nothing but snipers and don't want to snipe. Just switch squads so you don't need to run for 35 seconds every time you want to re-enter the game. Keep in mind you can go Rambo and do your own thing and the games still a ton of fun. It's just more fun if you play your role.
Ok so I'm scouting like a motherfucker. I'm not getting a ton of kills because I haven't totally figured out range and bullet drop but I just find a support guy and launch flares all day and collect. I have to say a quality skull shot from 300 yards is super satisfying though.
Aim towards the objectives, it'll show you the range. Use that to sight in your rifle for the 100% damage body shot.
I never played for medals. Usually when I got on one I had to change class or something and never could complete a stage.
You bet your ass Killing 3 vehicles with fucking 5 silly ass K bullets is lucky. Do you realize how fucking crazy I went trying to pull this shit off? Headshots with shotguns and SMGs? Lol I googled an article about medals and an article about how they make the player selfish popped up.
i have no idea what that was like but i think this is cool. It gives you some drive. But yeah its a bit distracting. Chasing dudes around with a shotgun trying to get headshots is nauseating and doesnt encourage you to do your job. Then again you get on monte grappa or suez and half your dumbass team is going to snipe like noobs anyways.
Ya I'll never go out of my way to earn medals. If it involves something that fits to my game style, then great. I'm wondering if the future DLC weapons/gadgets will have an unlock progression. Though they were was mostly relatively easy in BF4, it was pointless. Ya, sure I'll camp the bomber for 3 rounds in order to unlock the suav that I never ended up using.
I have no idea what any of y'all are talking about. I like the tanks and support class. Can't get the hang of sniping
