Recently started playing with support. I love posting up in Amiens and shutting down streets. What it feels like What I look like
Made rank 92 Lieutenant Colonel. I've noticed ranking up takes much more time now. Goddamn beauracratic bullshit. Can't wait for the new maps. This rotation is starting to annoy me.
Been awhile since I've played...will any of the new maps have choke points a la Locker or Metro? Or will it be more of the wide open maps?
Amien does somewhat if you play operations. The operations game mode takes that front like aspect of those maps to the extreme. The new map pack should have a locker style map by the looks of it.
So apparently (of registered bf1 players) im 72 in the world with the cavalry class. And 18th on xbone. https://battlefieldtracker.com/bf1/l.../vehicle/horse i suck otherwise :)
Oh shit I feel stupid. Didn't think you could play anything but operations because that all you can see on the main page.
jesus christ. is there something I'm missing when releasing the pigeon? I feel like mine gets shot down every god damn time
Depends how good the other team is really. Pretty much my strategy is to just get cover and lay down immediately. I'd say I have a 50 percent success rate.
Latest update really made it difficult to shoot the fucking pigeon. I just played 6 games in a row and they all went quick as shit because 95% of the pigeons weren't shot down. For me that sucks. I had a few 50+ kill games the old way where it was easier to shoot the pigeons. Been on the pigeon hunt for the better part of a month and going to need to switch it up again. Also the badges and awards are annoying now.
It's cool that the ribbons are back, but they don't need to pop up directly above your crosshairs. Some are so easy to get, which I get is the point. But 3 kills in the behemoth for a ribbon is nothing.
should leave it 22 but IMO they need to allow teamkilling for gas. It's not fair you can spam gas and your team runs through it like a shield. If debris from your own team can get you Kia so should gas.
That's where I am now. I shoot people but they never die. I'm adjusting my scope for distance but it doesn't matter.
Imo try to get back to basics bruh. Pick up an infantry rifle and sit back. For example the Russian infantry or gewehr 95 infantry. No scope. But theyre the easiest to shoot and have 5 rounds. So you won't have to constantly aim downscope when you have someone you need to finish off. I used the 95 because I wanted to get used to shooting without being rushed while trying to adjust to the game. But yeah I always say when I'm scout 'im the king of 80's hits.' it's part of the game. Martini Henry got a slight buff. So try to rank up ASAP and give that a whirl. IMO use incendiary trip wires to help out your KD.
I can't put this game down. I've been gaming since the Nintendo days and never got into online multiplayer games. My first was Star Wars Battlefront last year and I'm a decent player. My little brother wanted me to play so I picked it up on Xbone. I'm obsessed ranking and leveling up. I couldn't get off the spawn points the 1st few rounds but now I'm barking out orders, flanking flags, destroying vehicles. I want the Hellrieger for assault class but I've learned in Conquest, Scouts dominate. I struggle wanted to be a sniper, my gameplay and style aren't conducive to it.
Scout sniper. Infantry or optical rifles, spotflares, anti-tank grenades, and tripwire mines and you can wreak havoc on the other team.
Agreed. That's why pigeons is good because those games can potentially go a long time. Close quarters as well so you'll definitely get lots of assault and support kills. I had more than a few 40 kill games in that manner and I don't consider myself to be good. Only issue I've found is going back to conquest and operations I get thrashed because I have no patience.
I'll give pigeons a try, I dismissed it for fluff. My biggest transition is being patient. Being a medic, Mandragon Storm and take my time I can usually end up with a decent K/D.
Starting to rock the Russian infantry more. The lever action throws you off but you drop dudes at a better rate than the martini Henry imo.
The martini Henry is pure garbage. I've been playing back to basics recently because I like the realism of everyone using the standard issue rifle for their team, but I hate playing as the Turks because of that fucking gun. The henry is absolutely no match against the British enfield and I get slaughtered every time.
In BF 4 if you kept unlocking all the phantom dogtags/camos/etc over the course of all the expansions you eventually unlocked a bow to use as a weapon. I wonder if this will be another another scavenger hunt.
I experienced the same thing in that game mode. The martini was just outclassed when everyone is playing the same game style with the same weapons. I faired much better with it on normal conquest. It's easy to blend into the map and all the action when everyone isn't sniping/looking for snipers. It still one shots at a fairly closer range than any other rifle I believe. You just got to be on your toes with all the reloading.
