Thoughts on the new stage system? Biggest change I think it'll make is teams won't be able to lay in the back of the pack all day on super speedways. They basically have to fight to be up front all day now.

I always like the camera panning during the anthem because of all the smokeshow WAGS. That one was too much gross singer though.

I have been to quite a few NASCAR events over the years including Daytona twice
a few observations
The cars are so much smaller than they appear on television
It's by far the best live sports event I have never been to
Always pay the extra $50-$70 for a Pitt pass

We just had 8 caution laps. :/

Why did it take 8 laps for the caution between stages 1&2?

like the new format, just the break was too long

 

What are you talking about? A tire went down. He was in line behind the 78 with a slower car under him. It had nothing to do with him passing slower cars. He could have been running all by himself and the same thing was going to happen. It wasn't an aero issue. It was 100% a tire.
