Im downloading horizon now. Only 3 hours left I have cable internet. Any way to speed up this download?
Played it for 6 hours so far, absolutely love it and hate I'm stuck at work till 11. I haven't been this excited to come home to play a game in a long time.
You can pause the download and try to reconnect it to a faster connection on the PSN side but I don't know how well that works right now I bought 2k17 on sale last week becuase I stayed home sick and was bored af and it took 5 hours.
Pretty sure you can select default settings off the main network menu. Not sure I'm not at home. I'll check tonight.
So now that i have 70 minutes to kill....I dropped my ps4 a year or so ago on a tile floor. When I used the dvd drive i hear it...struggling? Like the disc is hitting something. How do I take my ps4 apart? Is that possible?
Game is legit. The thing that has shocked me has been how compelling the story has been. The gameplay of taking down all of these complex machines has been really fun and the graphics and draw distance are superb.
My biggest fear for the game was that taking down those machines would get repetitive. Really thinking about snagging it this weekend, now.
Each weapon has such a unique way to take down the machine and several different elemental shots when upgraded it never really feels repetitive.
Crashed out early last night so i got up super early to get in a little time this morning. Game is fantastic, story so far is excellent and very compelling. Movement through the world feels good, controls are tight and responsive. Feels a little like Witcher with the side quests scattered across the map. Love everything about it.
So far I am completely addicted to this game. I have said this about maybe 3 other games this generation. If you do not play this game, you are doing yourself a disservice as a gamer
What he said. For me, it combines the best parts of Tomb Raider, Witcher and the best 3rd person actioners that I can't think of right now. This is one of few games I can see myself platinum-ing.
on the zelda note, apparently breath of the wild is worth a switch alone would anyone on this board at our age buy a nintendo console again if they didnt have kids?
it would take multiple exclusives on the level of TLoU or Horizon to get me to buy an entire console. That said, i may buy the switch one day because the idea of a portable console appeals to me more than I want to admit.
I bought two or three of their consoles used and bought just Zelda, used. Sold the system when I was done. Have kids, would only buy it for them to experience Zelda and then sell immediately after. So yes, I would buy with or without kids. Pretty sure Ocarina cost me less than $50 at the time, console included, well worth that money then I got credit back as well.
