Holy shit. Did the flashbacks suddenly become interesting again? I'm still holding out hope Talia's presence means we will be seeing Dick Grayson now that the Titans series isn't happening.
Speaking of last night's episode Mr. Terrific was an awful casting job and he's a terribly written character. He's become the male version of Laurel for me.
If they'd actually let him be who he is in the comics, aka "one the 5 smartest people on the planet" he'd be awesome. He should be designing tech for the team.
Agreed. They've turned him into a huge bitch and it's ruined his character, Rene has been great though.
He's actually been identified the third smartest. It has created a ton of nerd debate about who first and second. Most people agree Luthor is #1. Debate is mainly if Ray Palmer or Bruce Wayne is #2. And I agree, they have completely nerfed his character on Arrow. My guess is they didn't want any character to outshine Felicity in the brains department. Still a terrible decision, IMO.
Didn't Chase kill the other guy? Is Nyssa gonna come save the day and assert sibling superiority or is that just a pipe dream?
That was my other thought. I just thought I saw recently that some of the flashbacks going forward would be off the island/training wherever. I could be just dreaming that.
Arrow will be wrapping up its fifth season come late April with a string of episodes that also finish off explaining Ollie’s complex past. Which means, in turn, the show has a bunch of budget and time freed up, so it’s bringing on more superheroes and cementing this season’s motley crew of vigilantes as an ongoing concern. Rick Gonzalez and Juliana Harkavy, who play Wild Dog and the current Black Canary, respectively, are being promoted to series regulars, joining Echo Kellum as Curtis/Mister Fantastic who got the nod last season. Katie Cassidy is also returning as Evil Fun Laurel as a series regular as well, meaning Arrow will presumably have a lot of plotlines to juggle. The main question, of course, is what this means for the show. Arrow‘s shift to an ensemble focus has been a bit bumpy, as the show has settled who has which role and where everyone fits. This will bump the number of series regulars up to eight, so that raises the question of how much screen time everybody can get and where the show will go now that it’s about a team. We’ll see as season five goes into its last run of episodes starting April 26th.
Is this show still shit? I stopped watching when he decided he wasn't going to kill people anymore and became a pussy.
This season has been p good. Definitely better than 4. Not as good as 1&2 but on par with 3 imo (which I liked)
