All started with a Kante interception Great security West Ham I'm sure that lunatic will just get a slap on the wrist that don't won't deter the next lunatic
Fuck gotta finish off these counters it was like 5 on 3 I guess Kouyate gets like 10 fouls before a yellow
Should be 2-0 yet it feels like they dominated the first half. We are going full on last year Leicester. Winning ugly. I'll take it.
Could have definitely finished some more chances, but got the W which is all that matters at this point
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...a-s-Conte-Premier-League-s-charming-boss.html Fantastic article on conte. A tad long but well worth the read

So 10 points clear with 11 to play thanks to our Stoke friends Maybe PSG should've kept their best CB?
Rojo and Valencia could have been sent off too (Rojo likely getting games for stamp on Hazard imo). Not the best performance but got it done, on to Spurs in the semis at Wembley. I predict whining about phantom goals in a game they lost 5-1.
A few thoughts on the game a day later 1) kante is a boss. Midfielders are typically my favorite players and he might take the cake. Not expecting goals like that from him too often but he's more than makalele. The game has changed but his ability to destroy opponents in their own half is incredible. I said it at the time but I am shocked that mourinho and Klopp didn't put up a bigger fight for him. I know mourinho called but conte made him THE priority. Best signing since hazard and probably top 5 ever for us. 2) mourinho's gameplan was a good one. Hazard was just too good last night. You can tell by the way hazard has played against united that he hits another level playing the former boss. United knew they had to stop him. Hazard was just too good and drew too many fouls. Once he started making moves like the turn on smalling the United frustration was obvious and the red card that killed the game came as a result 3) mourinho is an idiot for saying pogba was the best player on the pitch. On that will do is pile on the narrative that kante bossed him. Mourinho used to be a genius at manipulating the media to protect his players. His inability to get the best out of pogba is surprising but pogba seeing his name mocked compared to kante in the papers won't help. 4) still shocked at Willian over Pedro. I like Willian. When our players gave up he battled. That said he doesn't have enough product in the box to justify selection as an inside forward in this formation. On our 3-4-3 all 3 forwards have to score. Pedro has been on good form but we could use an upgrade there. 5) summer will be time to go for costa. Assuming we win the league we need to bring in fresh blood anyway. Costa has faded in the second half. His goal numbers are fine but he gets as many or more chances than anyone. He caused another distraction saying that hazard and courtois would have to think long and hard if Barca and real come calling. Who do we sign? Not sure at this point but I think it's time to move on from him. 6) no player has struggled more as the season has gone on than matic. The second cesc started a game he went into his shell. Cesc can still do great things but he is not an every game player in this formation. Unless conte wants to move us into a 3-5-2 next year I think we need to get that upgrade next to kante. Someone box to box like him but someone who adds a bit more goalscoring. Nainggolan but be great but if not him someone else.
on your last point, it's clear we need a signing to replace Matic and pair with Kante and seems like we are on that path given the # of rumors around different players that would fit this need
So for the 3rd time this season the FA declines to charge Rojo with violent conduct. Pretty fucking ridiculous given that they just banned Tyrone Mings for 5 matches for the same thing. Good job FA.
From what I understand, Michael Oliver had the incident in his match report. So the FA couldn't retroactively review it. Definitely dodged a bullet there.
I guess this doesn't count as an "off the ball" incident, but they changed that ridiculous rule three years ago. The FRA (Football Regulatory Authority) has now given its approval so that The FA will be able to consider retrospective action in the two following situations, in addition to those already within the existing charging policy: firstly, for acts of violent conduct that occur secondarily to a challenge for the ball; and secondly, in off-the-ball incidents where one or more match official did see the players coming together, but the match officials’ view was such that none of them had the opportunity to make a decision on an act of misconduct that took place within that coming together. Rojo is such a dirty player, and I get butthurt over injustice.
So Lukaku turned down a new Everton deal which means the rumors of a Chelsea return kick into high gear again.
The fact that he ever left is still mind boggling. If you spend big to get him back it will be akin to Pogba and united. You actually got a decent fee when he left and he is a proven commodity in the premier league, so not nearly as bad though. Rojo not facing any retrospective action for that Hazard stamp was ridiculous imo, that was so blatant. See you cunts next month.
Chelsea board wanted a buyback clause but mourinho didn't and that was back when mourinho was going to build the 10 year dynasty and shit. Lukaku is a good striker but I am not convinced that he is what conte wants. I think conte wants morata.
Apparently Moses is doubtful for stoke tomorrow. If that is indeed the case I would expect azpi at RWB with Zouma at RCB and ake/terry on the bench. I don't think terry can play either of the outside positions and shifting Luiz to a position that makes him more defensively vulnerable doesn't seem wise. Conte seems to have zouma over ake but even if they were even I would start zouma just because we are playing big, dumb stoke
Chelsea looked better defensively with Ake in than they have in some late match moments after Zouma comes in and Azpi shifts to the wingback spot. Hopefully going with that from the start makes it better, but they've seemed disorganized at some moments after Kurt has come on.
