Yep it's official. Hope the talking heads can put that to bed. In other news - they're going to try Adam Adams in the OF?
This new cardinals ticket subscription is very interesting. For $30 a month you get a guaranteed ticket to every home game excluding opening day and post season. Has any team done something like this?
I believe it. He was hitting up a friend of m'lady for a while last year and he sounded like a real creep.
That's pretty dope. Standing room only, but sure you could find seats to move into for a lot of games.
Really trying to temper my expectations of Wacha. His velocity is back up, just wonder if it will still be there after June.
Yeah he looks great. Velocity is up, and more importantly his accuracy is too. I read something a few weeks ago about how his over the top arm slot just isn't conducive to keep the injury he has healthy. To me, it doesn't look like he's dropped down any, so Im doubtful he'll stay healthy or effective all year.
Went to ameristar this week and last week. Prolly again tonight. It's like Walmart and a retirement tourbus had a baby. Fun times.
I have no idea which one but I ended up in some shitty casino after a game drunk off my ass years and years ago. I remember part of the casino was under construction and one of the black jack tables had a particle board top with no felt. Somehow I won a shit ton of money (for me). It was while Chappelle's show was hot and I kept yelling out I was St. Louis' richest man. Surprised I didn't get robbed that night. Had a wonderful time.
I'm fine with letting Jedder Bob move around. Looks like Jhonny might be fully recovered from his injury. Didn't Yadi have that same injury? Took him sometime to get his swing back.
Same. Jhonny should be the better defender there. Im sure they'll rotate in and out pretty frequently until one catches fire.
Pham optioned. That basically makes the bench officially Martinez, Gyorko, Garcia, Adams and Fryer. Also Yadi is not going to make this easy
Hopefully just a negotiating tactic. Some teams might outbid us, but I dont know who would give him that kind of contract.
Who gives us the best chance to win day 1, and based on spring training and the WBC, it's easily Carlos. No need to be down 3-0 in the first inning.
so, Lynn's velocity was in the 80's today before being pulled for "precautionary reasons" due to a "rib injury".
@Ken_Rosenthal Sources: Molina, #STLCards finalizing extension. Deal expected to be three years, more than $55M. 8:10 PM - 30 Mar 2017
As I said in the mlb thread - 3 years is perfect. Is it an overpay? sure. 3 years is easy though. Start splitting time w Kelly next year, and transition from there.
too much for Molina, but only 3 years. It shouldn't prevent us from signing anyone, but somehow I doubt we'll sign anyone anyway. If Machado makes it to the market and we aren't at the front of the line, so help me...
