I'm in the early stages of planning a trip to Morocco, probably Marrakech. I speak a little Arabic so hopefully I'll be able to get by. Anyone ever been there? I'll be traveling with my gf and saw that some of the airbnb places have restrictions on that.
Tomorrow will be day 3 of no luggage. I've emailed, tweeted at, posted on their FB in addition to caling. Probably have $1,000 in clothes and my wife's make up missing. I don't want to buy shit bc I know as soon as I do its gonna show up and I'll be fucked on weight the rest of my trip. I also hate spending money on shit like clothes and all the shit here is super lame. I also don't want to spend, you time shopping while I could be doing cool shit. "We keep falling JFK to send bag, it no show up" "You've done this 4 to 6x now on various flights...maybe it isn't in JFK. Has anyone touched it?" Their mind was blown with that logic. The food in Chiang Mai.....

In Prague, absolutely stay in Hostel One Home. In Berlin, I stayed in BaxPax, and it was alright. Definitely stay in Mitte, though
What was it about hostel one home that you liked most and how did you decide on that one from all the other hostels? Also how did you like being outside of the old town? It seems likes there's a ton of hostels to choose from in prague. I'm suffering from the inability to choose due to too many choices.
I've stayed at generator in Copenhagen. it's solid. Rooms are nice. Has a bar in the common area and you can definitely meet people but not as social as some smaller places who try to facilitate fun.
Yeah I know what I can do. Clothes aren't cheap here. Neither is buying brand new luggage in Asia. And my time is valuable and I have to go to a fucking mall for 2 hours when I'd rather do a million other things. I can't buy underwear on the street. Oh cool then I get it all back and wasted hours and a couple hundred bucks and have 2 of everything on 2 more flights that are overly strict on baggage. It isn't a simple solution.
I get $100 a day. I'll have to buy a new suitcase soon. I've already bought a shitty duffle bag. That money pretty much got destroyed by make up and shit for day 1 and 2 along with a lame shirt and shorts for $50. The 100 doesn't go far for 2 people. It's more the time commitment, unknowing, lack of communication, etc. Probably had 2000 worth of shit in the bag. Can't just replace it instantly
I have seen a single place that sells underwear. I've had the same ones on since Thursday. I'm happy for exoffico style underwear...but even they get older after a bit. It's all tourist bullshit for 150 baht. I'd prefer to not walk around the rest of the city with an I Elephant shirt. Can't find shorts as of yet. Need trunks to wash elephants. Need flip flops. Need another suitcase Articles of clothing don't equate to make-up, sunscreen, etc that's pretty expensive. I'm not going to buy 4 t-shirts and I whole again
And underwear? I'm a meaty guy. My thighs can go bare walking miles erryday Is it the same one in southern Alabama?
Planning a trip to Norway, Scotland, possibly England and Ireland this September. Wife has distant relations her family is in touch with in Bergen so we're looking at flying in there (Norwegian air is also dirt cheap). Spend a few days there and then head south to Glasgow to visit a friend. One place we want to check out is the Shetland Islands. Logistics seem a little complicated with limited flights/ferries tha inevitisbly cause some lost time and/or backtracking to get there. If we have time we also may head south into England or over to Ireland. Flight home can be from wherever. 11-12 days on the ground. Thoughts? Advice? Experience with Bergen or Shetland?
Jesus christ. Got attacked by a god damn herd of fucking massive rats. Had to cross the moat and there was a fucking colony that crossed us. Jumped, wife screamed. She got scratched by one Off to the hospital.
When southside had to go get a tetanus shot at the pai Hospital they spent half the time just laughing at his first name lol.

I bought some sick elephant and Chang beer tanks today, got some knock off Calvin undies, got some shorts, going to play with elephants tomorrow....thinking "fuck my bag I'm over this shit." And a god damn horde of fucking get rats attack us as we are crossing the moat going good into Old City for dinner. Still had some sick food at Cooking Love, they gave us free alcohol bc they could see the panic in my wives eyes as she's reading every fucking story of rat scratch deaths. Y'all go here, they were super cool and we stayed probably 40min after they closed at 11. Hospital was quick and easy $90. Got in trouble for taking pics of my wife getting treatment. We have to take a shot every 3 days. That's an issue. We'll be on Koh Phi Phi and it has to happen in the evening, supposed to be close to the time so midnight. Then she'll have to take another in Bangkok at midnight and she flies out to China in the morning. And has to get a shot in China. Jesus fuck. Everything is going wrong. Nothing has really stopped using from having fun, just a constant fucking side show. Now if the tiny hotel on Koh Phi Phi doesn't have rabies shots, that's gonna fuck some plans up.

What are the best areas to stay in Copenhagen for a mid-20 year old? I'm looking at vesterbro and indre by. Either Urban House or Copenhagen downtown hostel, and maybe generator but I've seen some people in here say it's too big.

friends say it's like a cruise on land. have to eat certain things, drink certain things, and doesn't promote getting out and exploring the area you are in
Do you have any other spots to hit in Tokyo? We're mostly planning to spend the days walking around, checking out the parks and shrines, etc. we have some nice restaurants booked in Kyoto, but figured we'd sorta just find spots as we go in Tokyo. We don't have any sushi spots booked other than those at Tsukiji.
Myanmar is firmly at the top of my list. Inle Lake is so nice, such an experience. I maintain it's a less developed, less touristy, and more genuine Thailand---and I say that keeping in mind that I love Thailand. My new wife is from Estonia, grew up 8 km from the Russian border. Been volunteering on a farm in Australia for 7 months. Also an amateur masseuse. Stayed together in Myanmar the last 2 nights. So yea, I'm in love again. Night bus to Bagan tonight, have a "cabin" with her for 9 hours. No idea what it will entail, leave in 30 minutes. Arrive in Bagan at 4 am, see sunrise over the temples, then find a place to stay. I did all-inclusive in the Bahamas in February for the first time and absolutely agree with your friends. Everyone wants something different out of a vacation so all-inclusive may be perfect for some people but wasn't my favorite
It is like that but the wife and I do them every now and then when we want just a trip to relax and not have to worry about anything. And imo there are a lot nicer all inclusives than any cruise out there.
All inclusives can be good for a long weekend if you just want to relax on a beach and get fucked up. They do have their place and may fit your needs depending on what you want out of the trip. I wouldn't do more than 3-4 nights at one. Make sure you get a pretty nice resort, though. The huge ones with families, kids, and buffet food options sound like hell on earth to me.
Only place i wouldnt stay is Nørrebro. But i Feel like you cant go wrong with Vesterbro and indre by. I dont know what hostles would be the best but if you can link em i'll tell you the best locations.

I stayed in Generator Hostel... Huge hostel, really nice, decent bar, good location. It's not quite as easy to meet folks there as it's kind of like a huge hotel hostel (think Wombats), but we still partied our asses off, and went out with the folks in our room.
We just did the same and walked around as well. On a friday/saturday it was hard to get into most izakayas though without a reservation so maybe scout some a day beforehand and call to get a res for the next night. Definitely hit up the golden gai area for drinks one night. Get to a baseball game if you can. That was maybe the most fun thing we did. Even if its sold out you can get standing room tickets where you stand in the concourse. Definitely get a seat if you can though.
