Maybe I am just hating on this show too much but what they do with Carrie really bothers me. She is having a fucking meltdown in front of the President Elect and Saul 2 episodes ago over her child but somehow she is still a trusted adviser.
Not to mention if her whole deal was get out of the agency and take care of her kid, why engage with Potus-elect and bring yourself back into this world you are trying avoid.
Good call. I did not even think of this. If I had a gripe, it would be how quickly the PE went from on Carrie's side, to against it, to back on it. It was barely a half an episode before they reversed everything back.
Great episode. Length doesn't really matter to me as long as they're good. Slow start to the season, but the time it took the lay groundwork is really paying off.
Hoping for another pasta dinner get together with the whole gang and Carrie to randomly visit her mother again.
I thought Saul was dead too until he magically appeared a few scenes later. Didn't think they did a great job with that. Were the pictures just important people to Quinn? This show certainly has its ups and downs but damn it can be entertaining. Already looking forward to next season.
Interesting way to go with the storyline. You could make the argument Dar was right or you could make the counter argument that Dar's actions created a now paranoid and scared POTUS into making the poor choices Dar was afraid of. If they don't try to kill her a few times prior to inauguration, perhaps she doesn't arrest the entire intelligence community.
Seems like we might see a storyline with Carrie stick around in back to back seasons after that finale? Feels like they set up a heck of a next season plot to jump right back in next January.
Been a big fan since the beginning. First half of this season was awful. Last was entertaining but with some big flaws. I dislike dialog and writing that paints everyone with a black and white view of the world. Netter come back hard next year or I will post horribly.
They had to though. I didn't like that he was alive at the beginning of this season and we had to see him stumbling around like we did but he proved he was still capable of a certain level of awesomeness. But I don't think it was sustainable and he went out honorably. Unless of course Keane ends up being something truly terrible.
I agree with this I was just so attached to the character. It was like watching Ned Stark get killed all over again.
Was hilarious to see the FBI agent throw Carrie to the ground. And the disgust on the Senator's face, Carrie deserves it.
Okay first episode, though a season with Saul on the sidelines in prison doesn't sound that appealing to me.
I was pretty sure I was done after last season, but the premise this season seems interesting enough. I remain confident that I would like the show better if Carrie wasn't in it.
