You guys that have already played this, any tips on what I should be buying/upgrading or looking for?
Please tell me you started out on that difficulty . I originally planned to, but read the description. It's apparently a joke difficulty that's damn near impossible. Hard mode before the first save point gave me enough trouble, anyways. Had 4 hours of play time before I ever got to save the game. Everything after that is easy, though.
Also, I have ending A,G,K, and W so far. Jackass got me with the Spoiler Mackerel And I lost an hour or so of gameplay. I was standing right by a save point when I did it, too
I'm thinking of testing it out after I get the platinum. Once you get through the first level, you'll get save points and things get way easier
Exactly I've gotten to the final boss of the prequel several times and i use the demo to practice combos
Ending A-E are finished, so I'm basically on mission cleanup and trying to get the platinum. BlazingRebel if you haven't made it past the prologue yet, I'd suggest bumping it down to hard. It's too great of a game to miss. Might be the best game I've ever played. Demon Souls could still be my number one, but this is probably the only game since then that has a chance of overtaking that.
I don't know, just something about it seems different than other games to me. The story has you feeling all sorts of ways.
Cza had the same opinion but I will persevere on very hard though incredibly frustrating it never feels like a cheap death and I love it.
that's fucking retarded, you aren't even playing the game. swallow your fucking pride and turn down the god damn difficulty.
Now on to Persona 5. What a great start to the year of gaming. From Nioh to horizon and now this. Not sure I've ever had a better stretch of games in my life.
I’m enjoying it so far, but holy fuck is the map screen a pile of shit. Like the rotation of it is fucky for some reason. Would be nice if I could highlight points on the map from the quests menu, too. And the waypoint marker needs to be something other than a slightly different shade of the colors of the mini-map. Just nitpicking here, because that’s all I can complain about so far. I absolutely love the combat and the controls. Story is great, too.
I'm sure you've already checked, but I'd look for an option to make the map static. Might help a little

Not sure I'm excited for that, btw. I think Yoko Taro's weird stuff is more suited for video game shenanigans than a TV show. The interactivity with his crazy ideas are part of what makes his stories (especially Automata) so great and iconic. Btw, I still consider this the best game I've ever played.
