Yeah but theyve made a few bad ones too, like the most recent one. Treyarch is pretty much always great. That said i am far more likely to buy this one than the last.
CoD started on PC. UO and 2 had 32p servers If they don't go back to that then they're not going back to their roots they're sticking to what fags want.
Meh. I can enjoy CoD (if it's treyarch) BF, titanfall, Overwatch, Destiny. I'm not a one trick pony. I'll hit you with the dick on anything
going back to the roots is actually going back to what was successful. cod4 with a ww2 skin. don't act like anything before 4 is the same series as we have today.
it means they're going to what sells and keeps their daily active user count up. the series exploded with cod4, most of the fanbase started playing then or later. going to something that is totally unrecognizable to 95+% of the people who will check out the game will accomplish neither of those things.
Up until all of their actual talent was fired or left (after MW2) and started Respawn (made Titanfall, Titfanfall 2) they were the best. All COD games run on some form of the engine they created.
so that did nothing for me. i just really hope the double jumps and wall running is gone. should be since its 1945
From the comments Brad Moore21 minutes ago Man I can't wait to see hitler dabbing with mp40 variant that does 50% more damage to Jewish players
Hopefully we get some missions with the Tuskegee Airmen aka the "red tails". Would be a nice break from playing as a generic white guy all the time
I don't care about the campaign anymore either tbh but I used to. Cod 4 and MW2 were good campaigns and the older CoDs were outstanding campaigns.
i stopped liking them when they removed the never ending waves of enemies mechanic. once they switched to a set number of kills then advance it kind of killed my desire to keep playing them. i think that was with mw2, maybe waw.
so i'm thinking it's going to be world at war meets battlefield not sure it will work but i liked world at war
Their roots didnt have vehicles. About 10% of cod games have vehicles. But in the event that youre right they will fail miserably because that isnt what cod fans want, thats what battlefield fans want.
No one played it. Real cod didnt start until 4. If they're trying to appeal to the four people who played 1-3 they're going to fail. That isn't what the cod fanbase wants. We want fast 6v6 arena shit with assault rifles that have ttks under .5.
sales numbers: cod1 10k cod2 2m cod 3 6.5m mw 17m waw 15m mw2 25m blops 30m but sure, let's talk about how an expansion to the one that sold 10k copies is the basis for all cod success
Some dumbass nd fan thinks real cod has big maps and vehicles because thats what an expansion to cod1 had.
