Trump wants them to pass this disaster today so he can say he did something. But passing this bill today would help the Democrats try and take the majority in the House. Congress would then start investigating Trump for all sorts of things, which seems worse for Trump than not passing an incredibly unpopular bill. I question the administration's longterm strategy.
well, it is. Besides, tax money shouldnt go to abortions. I would like to see the media spin it as republicans save millions of african american lives. You know last year more AA kids were aborted in NYC than were born there? Racist scum bags wanna control the population.
Why because I brought facts and disagree with you? Also, Jax Teller actually thought Farva made an account with his RL mom's info. Didnt know what a 19 year Sgt was and he questions people's IQ. LOL
This is fucking rich coming from someone supporting this stupid health care bill. It will cost us lives ladies and gents. Lives. (But just way way way more lives. Sorry man this isn't 1917. The military is a tactical force that goes in and finishes off scragglers after a precision bomb takes out the majority of the danger you'll face)
Because I can tell you're the kind of fuckboi that constantly wants to cut funding to social programs and bitches about welfare dependency, but is pro-life if it's a fetus.
If we can't just get everyone using the right public restrooms, this healthcare stuff will take care of itself.
Someone who had to sort through five pages of your bullshit to get caught up this morning. Stop talking about yourself in this thread. No one gives a shit about your meager life experiences.
wow typical lazy millennial being ok with 60 when if we really worked hard and put some thought on it we could slaughter hordes of poors by age 50
That would be a big mistake on their part, if it starts in 2019 that means open enrollment starts just before Election Day 2018 and people will know the financial impact it will have on their lives. If the wait until 2020 then people will be experiencing this disastrous legislation the year of a presidential election. Wait for 2021 and you have the same issue as you do with 2019, open enrollment coming right before the election. There is no repeal of Obamacare that won't have a major impact on the elections because a lot of people got to experience what it is like to have health insurance and turns out that it's better than waiting and going to the ER.
I don't really know where I stand on this - it's a piece of shit bill that will destroy lives of Americans for sure, but as it stands it has no chance of passing the Senate. So one part of me says this needs to die a quick death, another part says that every fucker who votes for this needs to wear this scarlet letter for the rest of their short careers. This bill is terrible for everyone. Even those who are going to be so happy to get their .9% medicare surtax, and 3.8% investment tax repealed will most likely get fucked on premiums since they will be older, higher risk, and more likely to have any pre-existing condition that may be more expensive than the tax they will be saving. The super wealthy I guess come out ahead.... even the kind of wealthy get fucked.
So late amendment is allowing insurers to get waivers to get out of providing required health benefits, including for employer plans, to cover things like maternity, mental health, or Hospitalization.
I've had the same thoughts. I fall back on wanting this to die as quickly as possible. Hopefully these fuckers get what's coming to them without this being held over people's head for months.
Best analogy i saw on twitter was something like: "let trump win the republican nominee bc there's no way he'll become president". It's best that this thing doesn't pass the House.
you guys are much more optimistic than i am that the shit dicks in the senate will do the right thing and kill this bill
I don't know how you could have made this worse but fucking with people's employer benefits has proven me wrong.
Rooting for this to pass the house is not the play. You're putting millions of lives at risk and trusting that senators have spines
our corporate overlords will do the right thing and put our health and well-being over their bottom line nothing to worry about
