Wu StinkusP1nkus Think this will prove to be a turning point for us. Huge win. Ayew back. Whole team looked focused and prepared in a way that we haven't seen so far this season. Slaven finally got the lineup figured out to get the best players on the field (3-4-3). Exciting stuff.
#West Ham United We re-signed Antonio to a 4 year deal. Probably a blessing that he was injuried in the back half, or could have had bigger names after him. Heard Chelsea took a look, he would be great for their system (just like Moses). Need a first team striker and a first team right back this off season. Everything else much lower priority.
Saw that we are currently the favorites to sign Mertens according to the bookmakers. That would be awesome, but I don't see us signing someone as good as him especially when he probably has his pick of the litter of big clubs to choose from this summer.
We're always "in the hunt" for players like this according to the media, but nothing ever comes of it. I'm a bit pessimistic about our transfer prospects. The Daves have a low hit rate with these 'splash' transfers.
I hope we do. He could really help us there, and be a leader in a team that needs it. Does he have injury issues? We always seem to have the worst luck (training staff?) with injuries, esp with new signings.
yea the entire olympic park area is a let down not sure what the final renovations are going to look like. We sorta decided on a whim to run down the canal that way to check it out. Its your prototype white elephant olympic village. West Ham is going to have to pump a ton more money into the surrounding area to rival the stadium atmospheres elsewhere in the City.
Apparently going to make him the clubs record signing, which means more than 24m (Ayew), previous record.
