I just noticed they put out 4 tor warnings. Last time I had that on my radarscope they weren't warned
Yep I'm about to get lit the fuck up. So happy I have a plan in place where the kids have extra shoes and bike helmets. I'm a lazy ass dad and my wife is still working
dallas, okc, kc are all included in today's as well as tomorrow. What huge city's are involved tomorrow and not today?
Three confirmed tornados in KS right now. One by Chapman, another by Salina airport, and the other near New Cambria.
OKC In the bullseye tomorrow. If that Waynoka tor went through Edmond rather than the middle of nowhere much bigger deal
radar indicated tornado according to Dan Skoff headed my way. Seems like pretty broad circulation though but its hard to tell w/ their radar screwed up
Honest question: is this guy respected within the weather community or something? I went to school with him pretty much 3rd grade through high school. He was that guy that knew everything, smartest guy in school kinda deal but I had no idea what became of him after high school. IIRC, he and his brother both had perfect ACT/SAT scores still went undergrad at Arkansas. Spoiler /coolstorybro
Lol yeah. Small world. Yeah, he's the warning coordination meteorologist at the SPC. Not sure what he did before that but he did a lot of coding work for the SPC before. Still does, really
Thoughts on today and areas of potential fun today lomcevak? Will I get anything today? Still waiting on my roof to be fixed and last nights winds and rain had me pretty nervous watching for leaks and shit all night
I'm in bumfuck SD right now, haven't looked too closely. Seems like best chance is late evening for tomorrow for rain and storms.
Wow. Told y'all I was clueless, looks like he went pro and he claims .. Spoiler University of Oklahoma so all of Dr. * Marshs academic and professional successes and accolades will be credited internally. * Dr. Title
Hows that rain feel? I just had about 2" fall in about 20 min at my house about 40 min ago. Was about to go and rake up all the leaves from the 70 mph winds from the other night now my back yard is flooded.
