Just started this one a few days ago. Really enjoyable so far. Looks like it's going to be a trilogy. I think two of the three have been released so far.

    Book Description Follows:

Bob Johansson has just sold his software company and is looking forward to a life of leisure. There are places to go, books to read, and movies to watch. So it's a little unfair when he gets himself killed crossing the street.

Bob wakes up a century later to find that corpsicles have been declared to be without rights, and he is now the property of the state. He has been uploaded into computer hardware and is slated to be the controlling AI in an interstellar probe looking for habitable planets. The stakes are high: no less than the first claim to entire worlds. If he declines the honor, he'll be switched off, and they'll try again with someone else. If he accepts, he becomes a prime target. There are at least three other countries trying to get their own probes launched first, and they play dirty.

The safest place for Bob is in space, heading away from Earth at top speed. Or so he thinks. Because the universe is full of nasties, and trespassers make them mad - very mad.

I'm a little more than halfway through the first book, and it is thoroughly enjoyable. I was a little skeptical about how much I would like it, but it's really fun.

Finished the first book of the series. Loads of fun and I strongly recommend for anyone who likes sci-fi/space books. I give it an 8.5 or maybe 9/10.

Will read book 2 and report back.

I'm about 80% through the first book. It's pretty interesting so far. You have to love a lot of science based discussion.

I think the discussion of "what is life" that they kind of reference in the book is pretty interesting.

I'm halfway through book 2 and it's still holding up pretty well. Now I'm just bummed I'll end up having to wait for the third one.

I'm a few chapters in on the audiobook. Excellent so far. I'm a sucker for sci-fi.

I'm almost done with book 2. Good news is the third book comes out in the next few months.

Listened to it a few weeks back. Really enjoyed Porter's narration. Just downloaded book 2.

I'm currently listening/reading this and Sanderson's Reckoners series (cheesy but fun). Some of the best narration I've come across.

Had no idea there was a book 2. Had this on my queue for a good while. I'll probably burn through book 2 as soon as I finish. Having trouble putting it down.

These have been on my list for a while. About 1/3rd into the second book.

Liking it a lot. Im glad the entire series is out however. I felt the first book ended rather abruptly and would have been annoyed to wait for the second one.

So far it feels like one long book, broken into arbitrary parts. Which is fine if the entire trilogy is available.

My problem with the series so far is the plot is literally so open-ended and scattered. Allows for original/interesting storytelling, but makes the whole lack cohesion.

Haven't started book 2 yet, so all of the above based on book 1. I loved the first book, but it seemed to be going in too many directions near the end. Hopefully it gets more focused in books 2 and 3.
