First Milton looks like driskel in his spring game and now sitkowski doesn't even start for IMG? Nuss is a genius
I've told you all before, Milton is going to be a great red zone target by the end of his redshirt sophomore season.
Totally forgot about Tyreke. I'd feel pretty good about landing him if DeAndre didn't knock that chick out 2 years ago.
He was all FSU before we persecuted his brother for merely defending himself against that brute of a woman who assaulted him
He's an explosive slot WR for Cy Springs and the Houston FAST 7v7 team. Good player that likely won't get a Texas offer because of how ridiculously deep the state of Texas is at WR and DB. This is probably in an effort to get Leon O'Neal but in all likelihood, O'Neal is headed to A&M. That was pretty much sealed when Texas flipped Caden Sterns from LSU.
I doubt that it's some attempt to get O'Neal. Coaches probably saw something they liked and offered. He looks like he would be a solid nickel cb.
Super athletic with very good ball skills and decent instincts in coverage. Interesting that he's been offered on defense because I've always thought he'd be a better slot receiver.
Kennesaw (Ga.) Harrison five-star quarterback Justin Fields has been committed to Penn State since early December. However, this offseason the 6-foot-3, 220-pound signal caller has become a top priority of several programs across the Southeast despite that pledge. On Friday, a pair of Nittany Lion assistants were at Fields’ spring game to eye their top commit. “It was great that Coach [Joe] Moorehead and Coach [Josh] Gattis came out to watch me, definitely unique that those guys came out to watch me,” Fields told 247Sports’ Keith Niebuhr. Penn State is making sure to stay atop Fields’ recruitment even while they hold his pledge. “Every day,” Fields said of his talks with PSU. “It’s very solid. We talk family, we have group messages with my dad and I with Coach Moorehead in there, so we talk every day.” What is their pitch to the prized quarterback commit? “Just how they can compete for a national championship if all the recruits they have there stay. That’s probably the biggest message.” Fields says Florida, Auburn, and LSU are the teams he feels recruiting him the hardest outside of Penn State. The Nittany Lion staff is well aware of that. “They don’t really change their approach. They just keep in touch with me every day, text me and my dad, so that’s what they do.” Florida is the team many feel might have the best shot to flip Fields. “Four coaches at least text me every day,” Fields said of the Gators. “Their message is that they have all the pieces to the puzzle except a quarterback, so that’s their main message to me is. “The most appealing thing is of course the quarterback room and the ability to play early. You can see it on the field that they are missing a quarterback. You can see it, anyone can. “I like Coach [Doug] Nussmeier, what he does on offense there," Fields said laughingly. Despite the press from the Gators and others, Fields insists he is still solid to PSU. “All the schools are on me, but I’m still 100-percent committed to Penn State.” Fields says he does not have any visits set for the summer yet, and that he is completely done with the recruiting process. The 247Sports Composite, an industry generated average, currently ranks Fields as the nation’s No. 20 overall prospect in the 2018 class. Jack Parkman
Im going to enjoy sitting back watch 4 teams fight tooth and nail for this guy. Sounds like everyone thinks they will get him.
The OT at Warner Robins that Newberg thought FSU landing would help with Trey Hill because they're teammates... Spoiler they're not teammates and Armstrong sucks
we don't think we're getting him We have a QB already committed too so it's not the end of the world if we don't, although Fields is clearly better
We haven't exactly had much to be proud of on the oline lately. And all our oline recruits become guards/centers anyway
Oh how I know those feels. Christian Armstrong is not going to change that. Meadows is going to be a good center imo.
He already looks way better than our backup but he is terrible so who knows. A lot of ponder comparisons, but that is because he is white, underrated, and a coaches son, with some mobility.
I'd be happy with a Ponder like career from him. I hope we can RS him this year and JJ only sees the field in blowouts, or maybe a handoff if Francois loses his helmet and we don't want to burn a timeout.
I believe so. But we are in shambles right now so you can't be certain. Putting in a CB for him right now would be risky.
I just put in a really random-ass crystal ball pick for a kicker. Patiently waiting to see if anyone follows.
