Play like shit all season then impress in the matches where opponents have already hit the beach. Petr has learned well under Arsene.
Knocked out of a weak CL group, knocked out of Europa league to a mid-table Belgian side, knocked out of the FA Cup, but have a cute little spring run to make the title race interesting for 5 minutes. Spurs 2016-2017 DVD
I fucking hate most everything about this club and all I have to drink is water, grape cranberry juice, and almond milk.
Spurs have never fully recovered from the Flamininho brace and wonder goal knocking them out of the FA Cup a couple seasons ago.
If I'm Kronke, why would I want to continue to own a property that many people want me to sell? He can make a large return on his investment and get back to buying large swaths of real estate in the US where there are no fans chanting for him to leave...
because all Kroenke cares about is money and he is getting a ridiculous return every year while his investment continues to grow in value.
John Cross is a fucking disgrace. I find it hard to believe that he can type anything while massaging Wenger and the board's balls.
And he could cash out for a healthy gain now and dump it somewhere else that has a higher growth potential. Imo. I'm pretty sure he owns all of the land around the Pepsi Center in Denver (including the land where the former Six Flags amusement park is on). There have been rumors of him redeveloping that entire area, basically adding a 8x6 block area to downtown Denver, an absolutely exploding market. A couple billion dollars could go a long damn way there...
Imagine the TV deals are gonna start to flatten out, at least in England. Probably the same with some american sports, no way the growth can continue near the rate it has.
So hard to figure shit out over there as well. For instance what was his initial investment? Why is the bid only 1.3? Meaning I get its a ton of money but something has to make the needle move. Is it a shit bid just trying to rile up supporters? The marlins are supposedly about to sell for 1.6. I realize that's 100 percent of the marlins and not 2/3 but I'm just thinking the numbers being thrown out are on the lower end of what would make a deal possible.
That was the League Cup you nonce. You haven't beaten us on the pitch in a competition of consequence in years. Poch has never lost a league match to Arsenal. Your owner doesn't give a shit about on field product so long as the money rolls in. Your manager, whose former players admit sucks at coaching, is holding the club hostage. Literally half of your starting XI have contracts that expire in a year, including the two best on your squad. Enjoy Thursdays.
If the only thing to make you guys feel better about being shit is the fact that we haven't won anything either, you've fallen to a new low. We are trending in completely different directions. I will now take my leave, and bid you good day.
A solid league season(miles off the title, of course) after total capitulation in Europe is a trend? I mean, let's not forget it was just last year Spurs were very Spursy in their title chase and managed to finish behind this god awful downward spiral Arsenal. Congrats on that 2nd place, obviously means things can only get better from here
I get off 3hrs early tomorrow and will be making a run to the liquor store. I strongly suggest you all do the same
Picked up 2 cases of beer today. All set on that front. Better go out on a high - one way or another.
Took off tomorrow. Case of dogfish cans and hit the liquor store as well. Liquor and beer don't commingle in PA if that sounds weird. I'd love to be hungover for the game but not possible at 1230 so I'll start early.
I may go hard liquor even though I'm usually a staunch beer guy and have to head out early Sunday. I'll probably be a bigger mess if we win than if we lose
I'm rarely a day drinker, Saturday night is gonna be rough either way. Just sucks that we are missing so much on defense, seem to finally be clicking then 3/4 CBs get hurt/suspended.
What's the liquor of choice? I'm a scotch/bourbon and vodka guy for liquor. Brews, IPA is preference and I'm still a sucker for good cheap American beer in mass quantities.
