Its a prequel so probably not. But just do yourself a favor and restart it. Been slowly replaying it and brought back so many memories. Not looking forward to the end tho.

Online in the last one was fun and similar to gta, not quite as developed but still fun

 

nothing better than throwing some dynamite and blowing up someone.

 

Some of my fondest gaming memories involved creating a posse on RDR online and harassing the piss out of randoms until they dropped server. Shits fun.

I don't like the thought of being the bad guy. That was always my issue with GTA games is that I hated the character I was playing and couldn't relate. Marston was multi dimensional and an anti hero. Found that depth interesting and compelling in the first game. He kept talking about how they thought what they were doing for Dutch was the right thing so hopefully that drives this character some too and he has more depth than the trailer presents.

All that said I thought it looked amazing and can't wait.

 

Could definitely see a first half of the game you are a bad guy and second half is a redemption story

 

They've already done Marston and it was done perfectly, really can't do that again. (I guess you would want maybe a good guy instead?) Trevor was great but I also get the idea of hating literally every GTA main character ever.

RDR is easily one of my favorite games of all time and this game has a lot to live up to for me but Rockstar is so money with what they do that I can't imagine it being anything less than superb

By no means do I want a good guy but another antihero or redemption story would be better to me than a GTA style bad guy. I think they'll do it right, but I'm a bit weary of it is all.

Trevor was fun in spurts. I like Franklin more than anyone.

 

First kid is due in January. He may not have much of a father figure his first year when this comes out.

 

Nico was great and GTA 4 gets unfair hate

 

GTA IV was better than GTA V in my opinion. Niko was the shit, and it had single player DLC.
