I get that when City get involved prices rapidly balloon, but spending 34 million pounds on a keeper, that isn't even Brazil's number 1 year boggles my mind. It's the same thought process with dudes like Otamendi or Mangala. You could have ran a youth team player out there for Mangala and got the same result. Just insane.
Otamendi made sense from the perspective that they owed like €25 million to City for the loan and buy of Negredo so it essentially wiped that clean and we paid like €10 million. Ederson has been the name that everyone has said Pep wanted since he benched Hart so I'm sure that didn't help the price
That seems like a lot of money for him. I know he's been good at Roma but I never thought he could be more than a rotation player at a top level club when he was at Chelsea. Haven't watched more than a few Roma matches this year though so maybe his improvement is more than I realize
Wrong he has improved so much since getting to Rome, but it might just be that he is a better fit for Serie A than the Premier League. This is one I'll believe it when I see it, because he is as important to Roma as a guy like Nainggolan. Dude may miss a few chances, but between his dribbling and speed he creates so many more chances. Dzeko had about 500 chances this season and a lot of that was because of Salah. He is still young and I wouldn't sell him for anything.
He is clearly Brazil's best keeper so not being the Brazil #1 is a moot point and he just got the call up for their next friendlies.
He's very good. His team has a lot of players who will go to europe within the next year or two (Zeca, Vitor Bueno, Lucas Lima (if he decides to go)). Definitely one of the most exciting prospects here. 15m would be a good deal for him
I remember that match. From what I've seen of him this year (no more than 5 matches) he's looked like that player in how he created. I just don't see Livid spending that much. He's not English.
Solid forward. Reminds me a lot of Simeone's kid. Found this article: http://www.espnfc.us/blog/soccer-us...t-tottenham-transfer-target-sebastian-driussi
The one at Genoa? Believe he had a solid season. A lot of news that Driussi might be on his way to Rome.
I will say if Salah joins Liverpool expect the Facebook page to never be the same. Those Muslim/Egyptians are fucking crazy.
It does feel like a high price but it seems that most of the top teams have a handful of squad players with tags north of 30. With the way the fees are headed it's just how it's going to be and we have to get someone this summer that can at least be a poor man's Mane in terms of attributes.
Yeah there have been reports throughout the day that he would likely be staying at Atletico now that their transfer ban was upheld and that United have shifted their focus to signing a striker.
Di Marzio reporting that Morata and Milan have reached an agreement, now they gotta convince Real Madrid: http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/mila...-with-morata-belotti-is-still-the-alternative
Seeing that too, although I don't know how much of that is just reactionary to the Griezmann news and Lacazette having been an Atletico target. Belotti, Lukaku, and Morata have been the guys linked to United the most.
L'Equipe reporting that Arsenal offered 100m euros for Mbappe: https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Act...r-d-arsenal-de-convoiter-kylian-mbappe/806556
