I'll post my list later but Game also named POTS GKOTS and TOTS GKOTS - Neuer POTS - Vázquez TOTS Buffon Alaba Azpilicueta Albiol Piszczek Costa Martial De Bruyne Vázquez Cavani Aubameyang
Not home so can't check to verify who finished with golden boot but will check later Neuer won golden gloves
TOTS GK - Manuel Neuer - Real Madrid Fullback - Cesar "Dave" Azpilicueta - Real Madrid CB - Sergio Ramos - Real Madrid CB - Samuel Umtiti - Manchester City Fullback - Jordi Alba - Barcelona Defensive Midfielder - David Alaba - Barcelona Midfielder - Arda Turan - Barcelona Central Midfielder - Radja Nainggolan - Manchester City Winger - Lucas Vázquez - Real Madrid Winger - Douglas Costa - Manchester City Striker - Edinson Cavani - Barcelona Bench: GK - Gianluigi Buffon - Manchester City CB - David Luiz - Bayern Defensive Midfielder - William Carvalho - Manchester City Central Midfielder - Ivan Rakitić - Brighton Attacking Midfielder - Ivan Perišić - Barcelona Winger - Marco Reus - PSG Winger - Angel Di Maria - Real Madrid Reserves: CB - Loic Perrin - Brighton Winger - Anthony Martial - Juventus Striker - Luis Suárez - Liverpool Attacker - Lionel Messi - Real Madrid Striker - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - Everton After review of the final stats Perišić gets Isco's spot. Clearly better.
Didn't like that the entire TOTS was the top 3 but there was a pretty large gap on the table from 3rd to 4th and looking at the stats there wasn't a spot I felt wa s a close call. GK wasn't close Dave was the clear best defender. Only other CB to consider was Albiol and I punished him for getting subbed off pretty much every match for Savić, many were early 2nd. Attacking 3 I knew, that was easy. Di Maria could've been close but the 3 leading scorers made it easy. Alaba was the best defensive midfielder. Turan over Perišić due to his versatility filling in a lot at DM, playing on the wing and playing CAM. When I review I may make room for Perišić, giving him more consideration as a central midfielder with how often he played CAM.
Made me want to look at stats for worst rating for regular players. It was DMs. Stats are goals/assists/clean sheets (if a defender, DM or GK)/rating Dortmund - Pereira 1/1/5/6.1 (benched Florenzi was 2/1/3/6.0) Brighton - Bernardeschi 1/0/6.4 Colorado - Alves 8/6.0 (benched Illaramendi was 0/3/4/5.8) Everton - Schneiderlin 0/0/10/6.0 Barcelona - Verratti 0/1/5/6.5 Bayern - Keïta 1/1/14/6.3 St. Pauli - Weigl 0/0/6/5.8 Hamburg - Srna 0/0/7/5.8 Juventus - Bakayoko 1/1/10/6.3 Leeds United - Khedira 0/0/11/6.2 Liverpool - Hamšik 0/1/11/6.2 Manchester City - Modeste 5/3/6.4 (For starters Roberto 0/0/11/6.6) Milan - Gueye 0/1/5/5.8 PSG - N'Zonzi 2/1/9/6.2 Real Madrid - Krychowiak 1/2/14/6.6 Bremen - Sommer 3/5.6 Southampton - Garay 0/1/6/6.2 SM Caen - Casemiro 3/0/3/5.6 Stoke City - Criscito 0/0/7/5.9 (Pjanić was tied with Butland, Čech and Carvajal at 6.0) Spurs - Walker 0/0/8/6.0
Best player for each club Dortmund - Benzema 13/4/6.8 Brighton - Rakitić 12/5/6.8 Colorado - Lacazette 9/3/6.5 Everton - Aubameyang 14/10/6.9 Barcelona - Cavani 20/7/7.4 Bayern - Falcao 8/3/6.9 St. Pauli - Morata 10/6/6.5 Hamburg - Belotti 5/2/6.3 Juventus - Gameiro 8/3/7.0 (22 appearances) Leeds United - Ronaldo 10/3/6.7 Liverpool - Suárez 13/4/7.1 (26 appearances) Manchester City - Costa 20/5/7.4 Milan - Jovetić 7/4/6.4 PSG - Reus 15/5/7.0 Real Madrid - Vázquez 21/10/7.4 Bremen - Griezmann 7/1/6.5 Southampton - Ibrahimović 15/5/6.9 SM Caen - Robben 4/4/6.5 Stoke City - Müller 9/6/6.6 Spurs - Lewandowski 10/6/7.0
1st round picks Ronaldo 10/3/6.7 Messi 15/7/7.2 Neymar 13/3/6.3 Lewandowski 10/6/7.0 Ibrahimović 15/5/6.9 Suárez 13/4/7.1 (26 appearances) Bale 4/2/6.5 Hazard 10/7/6.3 Dybala 14/2/6.4 Griezmann 7/1/6.5 Aubameyang 14/10/6.9 Pogba 1/0/5.8 Alexis 11/3/6.4 Cavani 20/7/7.4 De Bruyne 3/4/6.8 Modrić 1/1/6.0 Özil 7/8/6.5 Kane 6/4/6.7 Kroos 7/3/6.5 Agüero 8/6/6.7 First time since I've taken part that Messi wasn't trash and he was still the 3rd best attacker on his team. Pogba woof
And the best pick of the draft is pretty easy. 2nd pick of the 11th round, for his last starter Nexus took the best player in the world Lucas Vázquez
Seriously... just went back and checked. Pjanic was 1/8 on penalties. The worst career penalty taker in EPL history hit 50%. The worst. Pjanic is the worst of the worst. Warning to whoever drafts him next go 'round.
Ask Brox. I don't have a pic. I'll try to get one tonight. It won't let you save after the final match so have it saved before Colorado beat Milan 1-0. Tried resimming that match last night to get a pic of the table and I shit you not in 10 tries I couldn't get a single Colorado victory You finished 9th I believe since you lost and both PSG and Southampton won.
choked down the stretch but ended p strong Miracle that Reus stayed healthy for almost the entire season fuck off N'Zonzi
Alaba plays a pass into his own box that gets away from Godin. Di Maria pokes it lose then equalizes late
Azpilicueta loses Alaba on a late run into the box and he heads home a cross in the 114th. Real pushes up and then Cavani finds a wide open Bellarabi at the back post for 3-1
FIFA named Niang the player of the tournament for Watford. I give it to Cavani and his 7 goals and 2 assists in 6 matches
Hell Yes!!!! I didn't finish dead last. Mission accomplished. Next year I would like to finish mid table.
You closed pretty well and had a chance to get out of the relegation zone with 3-4 matches left. You went too young this year since it is just a 1 year sim. Think the experience will help for next year but as you see sometimes FIFA just will FIFA. Pogba sucks, Messi normally sucks, Vázquez is the best in the world
Yeah until looking at the stats at the end I couldn't figure out why your team was doing so poorly. Pogba and Casemiro were just awful
Normally once a year. Typically around this time of year. Someone will volunteer to run the draft and someone will volunteer to run the actual sim. I know Delap has run it before. This was my 2nd time and I'd probably offer to do it again in the future, maybe even next time. Last year was a gigantic mess and I don't want to see that happen again
After being 0-0 at half and Brighton having a significant advantage in both possession and shots, Real dominates in the 2nd half and wins 4-0
