Well it's a beta that is a small fraction of the actual game. I think the gun play is pretty great but the progression system seems really bland. I'm gonna buy it tho because it seems like some good co op fun
Played the beta this weekend. The game was really fun, but I'm not sure I have the time to get invested in another game right now. I'll probably pick it up when it goes on sale in a few months and I've got more free time.
Had a great time playing this. Helicopter controls are an abortion. Also the AI for everything is fucking horrible. Team member stands there while a soldier unloads at me. So many horrible examples of terrible AI. Story line is decent but isn't the final version due out in like 2 weeks?
Yeah I like it but there's also a bunch not to like. Reminds me of a game called mercenaries if any if you remember that
Minimal. It just feels good. Too much bullet drop in a game like this would kill the experience imo. There's a lot going on at times and it's absolutely massive. I'm skeptical about this being a good game but it won't have anything to do with the gunplay
I'm having a blast with this game. It's gorgeous. Anybody with experience with this type of game know whether I should max a few traits quickly or spread my xp out evenly?
I played the beta and I'll say that it's fun when everything goes to shit because the best part about it is the gunplay. I can see it getting stale quick tho because it's essentially the same tasks over and over until you unlock the area boss. I'm gonna buy it because I'm a sucker for co op games but idk how much I'll play it
Why is it I pick up a sniper and then the next time I login it's not in my loadout? I've only played a little bit and haven't learned everything yet
Also you'll find maps in the game that will name the blips on the map. It'll give you a few options to unlock with weapon cases being one
Was skeptical of this game because you know, Ubisoft. But man I've had a blast so far playing coop. The map is huge and the regions all feel pretty unique. Haven't noticed much copy and pasting when it comes to cities and bases yet. My squad just started last week and we've pretty much been focusing on weapons. It's tough getting some in the 5 star regions with my basic skill tree set up currently. It's rewarding though to have to find the intel, then go search for the usually heavily guarded gun. Got pretty much all the guns I want. Going to start taking down the cartel next. Recommend getting the Ubisoft club app. There's some free guns and accessories in there. The Sig556 is a beast.
Against my better judgment, I purchased this game last week. Fired it up Thursday after work and spent 2 hours customizing 5 different outfits and loadouts. Started the campaign friday morning, looked up at the clock and it was 1045pm........on sunday.
Couple of gripes: No 10-40x scope. Unacceptable. If I take a suppressed shot from 500yds, at night, in the rain, the sicarios shouldn't be able to run right to me.
Soooo 4v4 pvp is in the plans. That will keep me playing. I hope they do a smaller TDM style mode and also a large scale hunter type mode.
Took a run at the general in Flor de Oro last night. Snuck in with a APC, friend grabbed the target while I shot the place up with the cannon. No one shot at us until we left. Actually kinda felt cheated.
Mine comes tomorrow but can't really play until Thursday or Friday of next week :( Always been a huge ghost recon fan. Used to play the shit out of the original
I'm a sniper and "ranger" by their definition, so I love the ghosts. Having said that, narco road is the complete opposite and fun as shit when I need a break from recon.
I need new sniper gear. I haven't paid for anything and I feel like its been impossible to find sniper upgrades in the map, do I need to buy shit? I'm only done with 2.5 of the districts, though
