I fell behind while on vacation and with NBA and NHL playoffs both going, couldn't catch up. Caught up today. Love these last few seasons
Very excited for finale. Thought Mr. Wrench killed earbud Asian guy but I guess not (unless Varga has shit tons of lookalikes) Vargo vs Swango was a fun scene, still hate Nucky's brother, Carrie Coon is awesome
Mr Wrench had the drop on earbuds tonight and could've wiped out Varga's last known henchman in the hotel room. Now they are still mid-blackmail (even if she knows it won't work) with an accomplished killer out there to help Varga. Made little sense to let him live.
Earbuds is the little Chinese guy....my bad. What happened to the other guy that lost his ear? That's who I was thinking of.
I believe the last we saw of him he had wandered into the same bowling alley that Nikki and Mr. Wrench had just left and had a little sit down with Ray Wise's character.
One thing that did bother me was Swango is still a prisoner on the run and she chooses to meet a in public place without any kind of disguise
I kinda took it as Ray Wise was some omnipotent character. They were all on the verge of death and he helped Swango and Wrench escape and did not help Yuri Cliffs: I think he is dead
Would probably have to agree with that. The first half of that episode ending with Nikki and Wrench getting help from him at the bowling alley was very trippy. Definitely seemed to be some other plane of existence and, like you said, Swango and Wrench received assistance while Yuri seemed to merely get a message. Not sure we need it or if there will be time but it would be nice to see them revisit it in the finale after everything is seemingly settled.
I thought Mr Wrench should've killed earbuds but it was also very clear when he didn't have a silencer that it wasn't going to be a hit. I'm fine with that because the episode (the last four really) was great and I'm sure the finale will kick ass. And I think the message with Gloria Burgle is to believe in yourself. That's how you get those piece of shit sensor bathroom appliances to work.
Not quite what I hoped for but I have high expectations for Fargo. Still a good ride. Used Thewlis really well, underutilized Coon a bit imo. More Coon. #coon
I liked most of the finale. After the double kill at the same time, I thought it was a bit anticlimactic. Mainly because it jumped five years into the future and did all that with only what, 10-15 minutes left? Season 1 > 2 > 3.
I loved season 2, just as much as 1. First part s3 was slow but I really loved the 2nd half right up to the last 15 minutes
No. If Hawley thinks of something he'll do it but it won't be for a while as he has other stuff lined up. http://deadline.com/2017/06/fargo-season-3-finale-spoilers-noah-hawley-future-shows-1202117731/ Season 2 of Legion, a couple movies, timeline for a 4th season would be around 3 years from now.
Saw something the other day about a 4th season... http://variety.com/2018/tv/news/fargo-season-4-premiere-date-fx-1202654498/ I kinda thought Hawley might just move on from Fargo but am definitely glad he has another idea.
A lot of big shows just skipping out on the 2018 calendar year. Going to open up the awards shows for a lot of "new" blood.
Ugh that's a shame, not sure I like the whole 24 months between seasons. 18? Okay, but more than that you lose momentum in the series.
yeah, i missed one week and just never got back into watching it. same thing happen with Mr. Robot. i think i only have eps 9 and 10 left.
Recently binged S3 and it’s a lot stronger than it gets credit. The finale was a let down but there were a ton of great moments/scenes.
That was bound to happen regardless bc of the quality of the first two, but I think S3 is really a different animal. It’s much more philosophical than its predecessors.
