Try just joining a TSNP server? Or you could look in the store for it. I only played a little yesterday. Was not a fan of the one frontline game I played. Dice made the mistake of going with just 32 players. Same reason I don't play rush, just too small.
nope. it blows. the ribeye has a pod. but im not sure i like it. lebelle infantry is like the 98k single action. working on the medic.
i got 56 kills with the horse on soissons. But it wasnt easy. Theres so many damn obstructions. Any of you grab the sabre out of the fire on Rupture?
Sorry didn't see this. Did you get it working? The game didn't auto DL for me even though I set it to. I had to dl the patch then it said bf1 ready to dl.
Finally got 53 kills on Rupture. 52 on Soissons the game before is my second? best. But back to back made me happy.
My hands still broken. In my splint I could play. Can't play with my cast. On the DL for 4-6 weeks, banking on 6 weeks. 5 to go.
I like it a lot, particularly because of the fort de vaux map since I prefer playing support role on infantry only maps. I also like the other new maps but spend most of my time on de vaux.
The maps are fucking beautiful. Really complex. Only gripe is imo the French have the adv on pretty much every one of them except For Vaux. Fort de Vaux and Verdun are infantry only. Soissons and Rupture are all out. Frontlines is an interesting new take if you like smaller tact focus. Ops are great but i wish there was more cavalry :(
dem weapons doe. completely impressed. i was worried theyd suck and id be too focused on my usuals. They have something for everyone. The Ribeye is excellent. The scouts are great. And the medics have pop. I think the Support is good for support guys. im not one of them but it has pop.
Anyways i ran the math. I need to go about 7,000 and 0 to get a 2.0 KD. I think i can do it! 1.59 woes.
I did one round in each just to check it out. Looks awesome, just can't play effectively with my hand so I shut it down. Looking forward to getting my cast off to get some games in.
The new game mode frontlines is a ton of fun as well. I've had games go back and forth with both teams being on the brink of winning only to be pushed all the way back. Games can range from 15 minutes to over an hour, so don't play this unless you have the time.
I'm happy you enjoy them. The haters on Reddit are ridiculous. Sure they could use tweaks but other than that they're gorgeous. I personally play conq. fort vaux, Soissons, and rupture the most then I'll try an Ops. Also wouldnt be opposed to non premium players getting 2 of the 4 maps for free just so they stay interested and keep playing the game. But that's just the leftistish in me.
I don't care. I love this game. I agree with jackfrags it would help to extend the life of the game. And even when I burn out on it I hope I'll be able to easily catch a game a year plus down the line.
Can't copy from instagram, but the battlefield instagram said that people without Premium can play dlc maps with friends in parties who have Premium.
You trying to join a friend with Premium and in a party? Maybe because it was the early access period?
No clue. Just know I tried to join a friend and I got an error screen saying I couldn't without premium pass
BF1 update. Added Platoons and Map choice. So now you have the luxury of playing the same 2 stupid maps after every game.
God that impale looks so good. Got back from my broken hand a few weeks ago and got in all the new maps and unlocked some guns. Have to say the way they are releasing the maps is ridiculous. I would have never bought the expansion pack had I known they would trickle the shit out over a year and half. I do still enjoy the game but definitely won't have the staying power for me to want to pop it in next March when the next maps come out.
I'm ready for some modern BF, WW1 is fun but I'm tired of the maps and yeah the way they're rolling out new maps isn't ideal.
First one I got into on the BF series, never played another. I was COD for a while because I had friends on there but I always hated those games after a month. Definitely like this better than the feel of COD. Watching the latest trailer for WW2 and it looks like shit, to me at least.
I lost interest in COD after MW2 I think when they went to the futuristic crap. I love BF and I love wrecking people in the artillery truck or heavy tank, but I miss the attachments and variety of the modern games. Of course I want to play modern stuff again right after they restart the series and go old school.
BF4 is really fun. I don't know how many active users are playing BF4, but if it's active, I'd recommend picking it up if you want a modern FPS game. I'd go back to playing it but I only have it on PC and my motherboard fried and I need to buy a new one + new CPU since it's 7 years old at this point.
BF4 is still fairly active on Xbox. I mostly play the infantry maps like locker and metro but usually have no issues finding active servers.
I really do enjoy this new map. Lots of intense firefights and kills to be had. A good infantry focus map that doesn't bunch up like argon, metro, locker always do. I'm sure the expansions will all have individual cohesiveness. French dlc is more infantry, Russian will be large map, sea/water based map for the 3rd, and any man's guess for the last. Customization is definetly bf1's biggest problem, but what else can you do with the theme? I enjoy the gameplay and analog style bf1 has going. The abusbness of the modern bf games is something I do look forward to, whenever dice goes back to that. BF is my preferred FPS, and I stuck around 4 pretty much till the end. Expect I'll do the same, even with the all over the map content release schedule.
I was 0-9 the first time I checked my score playing the night map. I like the addition of a true trench map, but a daytime map would be good too.
