just saw this. 170/$0.16 for me i'm confident i've spent at least $100 in microtransactions and it didn't seem to count that
If any of you feel inclined, a bunch of Destiny Twitch streamers are raising money for St. Jude for the next week until GuardianCon. We all know what a worthy cause St. Jude is and these guys/gals have already raised over $375,000 in two days towards the goal of $1M. Maybe check it out, as there are some great streamers out there doing some great work: edit: I had no idea that was going to embed, so if you just go to twitch and search for the GuardianCon channel it will be a much better platform than streaming here.
The charity marathon Twitch stream just ended with Professor Broman bringing in $150K on his block for a total of $1.2M. Pretty impressive for a community of a "dead" game. Karl Hungus, you should be happy to hear that your favorite YouTuber, Mr. Fruit and the Dream Team raised the second most with $93K. All while Destiny was down for maintanence, too.
I ended up watching a fair amount of the stream. Just had it in the back ground while doing other things
They are pretty much all at Guardian Con right now, but for raid help, JSniperton is the best, most patient one out there. WTFGamenation, SyntaxSe7en, BlacKoreaNate, Angry_Iceberg are all good, too. There are some shitheads though, Ramez05 being one of them. I've seen dude dog cuss () people he is supposed to be sherpaing through raids.
lazy bum From today's This Week at Bungie: Spoiler Starting on July 25, 2017, Clan leaders should visit their base of operations on Bungie.net and decide if they want to convert their Group to a Destiny 2 Clan. Clan Founders will be able to transfer their title and permissions to another member who will be a more faithful leader for future adventures. If you have bigger plans for the existing Group that hosts your Clan, you can leave it as is and explore your own community purpose outside of the game. This housekeeping period will last for one month. After that time, new Clan creation functionality will go live on Bungie.net to support Destiny 2. Stay tuned for more information on that deadline! There is more info after that in the update, but I am really confused as to what exactly they are talking about. I guess read and see for yourself
Any of you guys up for running some of the raids this week for old time's sake? I think it would be fun to get together and run them one more time before D2.
i'd be down but i don't think i'll be around to do it. thursday i have to watch ucf lose to fiu (kill me), then friday sat sun and mon i have family reunion stuff. also with d2, i'll be off wednesday and will be dedicated to that then, but i fly out thursday thru sunday opening weekend, so you all will need to buy me something from xur. speaking of, i really hope you all aren't in the mode you were every release last time where you feel the need to play for 48 hours straight and blow through all the content immediately. savor this game like a fine wine.
Oh, shit, I forgot to finish. I get home at eleven and will talk to dabut's girlfriend (nymeria) until I go to sleep. Thanks anyway, guys.
I don't have time to play games too much, although I love doing it. I just bought a copy of Destiny the other day and started playing it for the first time. I have no idea what I am doing, but it is a pretty fun game. Can't believe I waited this long to try it.
At this point should have started with Destiny 2. A lot of the game is built around an online community most of which have moved from D1 to D2. But yes it is a ton of fun
Oracle Jr told me the same thing. I am a late adopter, lol. There are still plenty of people running around to help when I am on. Very confused about all the different missions and stuff, but slowly figuring it out.
Yeah I would just play all the storylines then move to D2. Maybe if we get bored we can take you through a D1 raid or two.
If everyone gets it on pc, your experience will be so much better. You can play with a controller, too.
