ramsey's made a couple great runs from the mf that have gone unrewarded because the players don't see it
Feel he will always contribute this to the squad, even when he's in poor form. What has me excited, is that he seems to be playing with more control & composure. Really, really want him to come good... far & away my favorite Gunner
Ramsey needs to quit getting dribbled past so easily, not like anyone besides Coquelin has made a tackle this game though.
That is fair. Fortunately he recovers quickly when that happens. Really happy he has dumbed it down, while on the ball, and isn't always trying a trick-pass/move. Hopefully that continues & he stops losing possession in dangerous areas
I'd like to see us try more of a 3-1-4-2 formation sometime. -------Alexis--------Laca Sead-Ramsey-Özil-Bellerin -------------Xhaka Lots of interchangeable parts throughout the roster, is a little more attacking/aggressive which should be fine in front of a 3 instead of a 2.
It's been quite ugly the last 2 games but that's with guys having no clue what they're doing in there. Hopefully it's one of these 3 backlines to start the year. Like Mustafi a lot as middle of back 3 playing deep, don't want him further up jumping into stupid challenges. --Koscielny-Mustafi-Holding -Monreal-Koscielny-Holding -Monreal-Mustafi-Koscielny
Guessing this was an accident but funny regardless, Ox can fuck off too if he doesn't wanna re-sign. Maybe that can get us to buy a real midfielder. I love Woj but we can't act like it was just a cigarette. Apparently he got better at it during his time in Rome but his distribution and decision making was erratic at best for a long time.
Agree and it's smart but of course people will use it against him. it's gonna be a nice sum if they don't get Neymar and need to use it well.
Don't disagree about his play at all, think the cigarette was the main reason there was no reunion. Wenger forgives shit play all the time, look at Theo and Coquelin.
He also forgave Jack numerous times for smoking and partying. Hell he only loaned him to Bournemouth because Jack felt entitled to a spot on the national team. I'm guessing it had to do with the fact that Woj's lack of discipline on and off the pitch never seemed to improve during his time here, as well as the squad's lack of a top keeper for a long time. Either way it sucks in the end and I wish him all the best. I'll always remember him casually drinking that beer a (Tottenham?) fan threw at him.
Yeah giving up on a talented keeper at his age is a bit crazy. Him coming back after taking some time to mature in Italy clearly made way too much sense though.
Never realized he was such a psychopath. Makes sense why we never got him, but there was definitely interest, Arsene even commented on him numerous times. From an article I just read. He's some boy - here's a reminder of his CV: 2010: allegations of assault over a traffic incident and a court appearance over two prostitutes who made of with his belongings on the eve of an international match. 2012: allegation of assault against a 17-year old man believed to be his sister’s boyfriend. 2012: two year ban from the French Football Federation following a wild night out in between under-21 internationals. 2013: went AWOL from Kazan during the Russian winter break and sat amongst Liverpool fans during a Merseyside derby. 2014: furiously left the field of play having been substituted by Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini, and within a month his loan agreement had been terminated. 2015: during the period he spent with Dynamo Moscow he was accused of trashing his rented house and some lurid headlines emerged about him wielding an axe. 2016: posts on Instagram in July that he wishes to return to Sunderland. On transfer deadline day updates his status to say he is in London. Then when no deal is forthcoming a further message emerges proclaiming he is “heartbroken”. 2016: posts on Instagram in September that he will be in Sunderland “if God wants”, later followed by a “thanks” hint at goodbye in November. 2016: Sunderland announce Yann M'Vila no longer wishes to join the club and manager David Moyes suggests the Frenchman lacks the required fight to battle relegation.
Dumb move to give a panic signing squad player the 9 shirt but Lucas is definitely acting like a bitch if he's that upset about it. Now if playing time is why he wants out he's got a legitimate gripe.
Yeah I think he has every reason to gripe. I don't like it, but it's not like we are talking about Grevinho here. He's actually looked great every time he stepped onto the field for us. For me at least, not telling anyone else how to work their bitch meter. I just hope we don't lose Giroud, through the summer transfer yearly soul searching, I think I've determined he is my favorite player.
If we lost Alexis & couldn't sign Lemar, I would prefer Sigurdsson over Mahrez to play with Ozil behind the striker. That is a lot of ££ for him though. I guess in a world where Kyle Walker is £50 million...
if we could get Mahrez I'd be happier than shit. He's going to be a huge addition wherever he goes. Also comparing him and Gylfi is dumb, they have two totally different skill sets. Not that anyone here has, just saying.
I like baseball but wanna kill myself when it's the only sport on tv. Gold cup final so figure I have 12 more awful weekdays till epl starts.
