He did an ok job, hopefully this will bring some stability. Still disappointed by the collapse at the end of the season though.
Agree stability is good. Sucks that we will lose Charlie Taylor. Club already has 15k+ season tickets sold for next year which is great.
In case you're a masochist like me: http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-after-lack-of-long-term-commitment-from-club
I'm okay with all the midfield help we can get. Supposedly Monk recommended him, which I find a tad strange since he is now at a direct competitor, but I'll take it.
Phillips opened the scoring off a nice set play from a corner. Wood made it 0-2 after a great header. Bolton discounted off a corner and Phillips scored again after a great pass that put Wood through and he gave it on a silver platter to Phillips.
Berardi left injured yesterday. Didn't follow up on how serious the injury was but Anita filled in decently.
Oh right. I had completely forgotten Berardi got stretchered off. In that case, at least for depth purposes this was a great move.
Chris Wood missed a couple good chances. Could've easily had the W, but it's still early in the season, I'll take the point.
I know he was nails for us last year, but if the rumors are true about some of these bids for him then we are going to have to cash in.
Another away win guys!!! I am loving the games being on ESPN 3. Should be some transfer money spent to bring in reinforcements. I would like to see another CM and CB at the least.
Great win watched most of it and it was totally deserved. So happy that we can catch some matches on ESPN3. Like what I'm seeing from the guys up top. Alioski and Saiz are very dangerous. Roofe is on fire after the mid week hat trick. Its early in the season but I'm really liking how the team is playing. Hopefully it keeps up.
Pierre-Michel Lasogga from Hamburg on loan, Hamburg will pay part of his salary: http://hsv24.mopo.de/2017/08/29/perfekt-lasogga-geht-fuer-ein-jahr-nach-leeds.html
The last time he was loaned to a club he scored 13 in 20 matches. I would be ecstatic with that kind of return.
Leeds United are delighted to confirm the signing of Pawel Cibicki from Swedish side Malmo FF. The 23 year old forward, who can also operate on the wing, has signed a 4 year deal at the club. Cibicki made 30 starts for Malmo scoring 12 times, and also enjoyed a loan spell at Jönköpings Södra IF in 2016 scoring 10 goals. Although the player represented Poland at both Under 19 and Under 21 level, he has gone on to represent Sweden U23's 10 times scoring once. Cibicki will wear the number 22 shirt for The Whites. https://www.leedsunited.com/news/team-news/22264/cibicki-signs-for-leeds-united
Already 5-0 in the 60'. Unfortunately not able to watch, but can't wait to watch the highlights to this. Lasogga got a brace before coming off.
Looks like another quick start to the season. Hopefully there isn't the fade to the mid table we have seen recently.
Watched the game in full and we looked really good. Typical Bielsa style, hopefully we can keep it up like you said. Cautiously optimistic after beating two of what I assume will be the better teams in the Championship this season.
