Pretty much. Both try to get a rise out of people with transparent hot takes. Clay is fucking awful. Barstool at least, is funny every once and a while. Both have a cult like following, that feel the need to defend the shield at the slightest perceived slight, which I find pretty weird.
I probably listen once a month. It's in my rotation but only get to it when Im caught up on everything else, which is rare.
I dont see Barstool's aim as reaching for hot takes. That is Clay Travis' deal. Barstool is there for crude humor, shallow entertainment. Travis is a singular bloviated personality coupled with alt-right hot takes.
