Must have been a falling out, why let him draft and make FA signings then fire him before the season? Really weird move.
Has to be related to his issues with resigning free agents and team favorites, but Jesus fuck Richardson the guy as built the best 5 year roster in team history using the draft and patchwork veterans.
Had to have been some sort of falling out. He made some moves that we frowned upon when it came to players who were a staple to the team, but fixed our salary cap and found us many 'bang for our buck' players that gave us both playoff and super bowl runs. Really curious how that factored in
Gettlemen is perfect for a #2 behind the GM that does the leg work, but Gettlemen is gruff and unlikable, which makes it hard to be a long-term #1. Rubbed too many people the wrong way and developed too many enemies. Look at all the former Panthers gloating about him getting fired. Not a sustainable model long-term. Gettlemen is a VC firm or the Bob's in Office Space. Bring him in, clean up the mess, piss everybody off and hand it off to somebody else in much better shape than how he found it.
He was the only guy I saw post something that was actually positive about Gettleman, I guess there wasn't really anyone else in the organization checking on him regularly while he's been dealing with the concussion. Hope he's ok long term, he did about as well as we could've hoped when we played. He was a god compared to Mike Remmers or Byron Bell on the other side.
KB's grab was nice, he's carrying that extra weight well CMac looked like a white Sproles on that little 10 yard scamper, could have gone the distance if he didn't lose his feet
After that first half I don't think it's a stretch to say we're en route to another Super Bowl appearance. The only question is when does Swim aka je ne suis pas ici make the switch again? You know he is still reeling from 28-3
I would imagine he will. WR depth chart is pretty crazy though, basically: Benjamin Funchess Shepard Then a bunch of youngsters
Oh I know, I scrolled through the roster not realizing how young our WR group is. Hope Bersin doesn't make the cut, id rather see a guy like Fred Ross get a shot.
The wideouts suck. Funchess sucks, the young guys have done nothing. Benjamin is a solid middle tier dude if he's in shape. But McCaffrey is a serious threat and Olsen is Olsen. The offense as a whole should be able to be a lot more productive with McCaffrey and a healthy kelvin
Cam been elite since that awful pick early against the Pats. OL is struggling and the run game was brutal today, but a nice W regardless. Shula tried his hardest to fuck it up tho.
Yea they dominated the middle of the game. Too bad Shula assumed they’d be fine to play the last 20 minutes straight.
