Yes, you can walk into any store and buy whatever you want. We bought a preroll, a gram of 2 different strains and chocolates. Got some papers too. It is illegal to smoke outdoors, I believe. We still walked around downtown portland at night and hit a joint.

Yeah, has that problem too of where to smoke.... Most people who live here just at their house. We smoked in the beach but no one was around. I'm not sure the enforcement levels of people smoking outside.

Eugene has the highest per capita weed stores in the State, they are everywhere. Against the law to smoke in public. Yep they are at nearly every store. If you have never used oil before, start with a sativa that is around 60-70% THC. PRO TIP: when not using the pen for prolonged periods of time, unscrew the cartridge from the battery. If kept on the battery the oil can leak out and ruin both the battery and the oil cartridge.

We are early 30s and both married so we don't need pickup bars, but good scenery is always appreciated. Also, what's the pregame scene like in Corvallis? Tailgating vs. bars? Block 15 Taproom south of town is one of the best places to sit on the porch and drink beers/eat. (Not the downtown pub) Squirrels is the best local dominated downtown burger/beer bar with an outdoor area. Downside is its always crawling with people smoking. Baguette is amazing banh mis. Tian Fu Noodle is great authentic chinese food. McMenamins really isn't that bad to sit outside, have a few beers, eat some cajun tater tots. Most the American food downtown is going to be garbage college town food.
Was in Portland for a week in July. Great town, get sativa, don't fuck with the blends. 20 mg had my wife and I standing and talking in the elevator when the door opened we hadn't moved anywhere because neither of us pushed lobby. Get lunch at food truck and bar hop for happy hour. You can walk the whole downtown easily. Would go back for sure.
When you say smoking at Squirrels, do you mean cigs on the patio? If so, that's not a problem. Obviously weed would never be a problem, but yeah it would be strange if they allow smoking cigs inside.
