"According to the police report, Fowler got out of his car to confront a man after he made a comment about Fowler's driving. After a brief argument, Fowler then struck the man, stomped on his prescription glasses and then took the man's grocery bag, which included liquor, and tossed it in a lake, the report said." I'm not even mad.
Mid season form already. Sign Kaepernick. And for one more depressing stat, our jags have only won 22 games since this thread began in 2010.
There is Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen if he returns to his Freshman form. Then you have Josh Allen from Wyoming and Kyle Allen from Houston who could be good prospects. And you know some team will fall in love with Lamar Jackson, just hope it isn't your team.
Good point. Someone like Francois could also take a huge step forward as a second year starter, but ultimately his height keeps him out of the 1st Round conversation. Then there is always the chance someone has a breakout season like Trubisky and goes from an unknown in August to the First QB off the board come the Draft. I know there is also decent buzz around Luke Falk (sp) from Wazzu. But I would never take an Air Raid QB in Round 1.
Well the jags are terrible again. Bortles looked like garbage. Need to let Allen get some first team action and see how he does.
He's used to playing with a terrible OL and running for his life. Really hope he can get a shot. Bortles is beyond done.
I feel this morning is an appropriate time to officially announce my Jags fandom, without being accused of jumping on the bandwagon
Yeah, Bortles is clearly a head case at this point. Problem is - we know exactly what Henne is and it ain't good either. Regardless, the most depressing thing to me last night was Winston moving easily down the field on the first team defense. Ramsey and Bouye are difference makers but not to that extent. Has any team had a run of GMs like Harris, Smith and Caldwell???
That's as bad as I remember a QB looking in any game I've watched. WR 3 yards clear of the DB on a deep ball? Under throw by 5 yards. 15 yard hook route? Bounce it at 10 yards. 5 yard curl to the TE? Stare him down from before the ball was snapped and then throw it into the LB's arms. Just truly awful all around. This team has been so bad for so long that I've just become apathetic towards them. I'm still a fan, and still somewhat follow them, but it's impossible for me to care much when I know before the first preseason game that we won't have a single meaningful game all season. I'm not asking to be the Pats. Just give me 7-7 with a chance to win the last 2 weeks and make the playoffs. I don't even care if we make the playoffs. Just give me one week to look forward to one game that means something.
Had to record it because I couldn't watch last night and after seeing the QB play I highly doubt I will subject myself to that. But what was up with the defense, just no pressure? Honestly the only saving grace I had going into another awful season was that hopefully our defense could keep us in some games and hopefully Fournette was not a mistake.
Bortles was skipping passes the entire time he was here. I've never seen a QB do that so often at any level of football. Wr is wide open and he will throw it 5yards in front of him and into the ground. It's like he's trying to do it. Only logical explanation.
I read reports recently that the Bengals turned down a 2nd round pick for McCarron so no telling what the Pats would want for Garrapolo. https://www.bigcatcountry.com/2017/...77.2140428539.1503067661-130023249.1503067660
