Sky/BT sport bleed people who watch in UK, not surprised that we're gonna feel it soon. Also no way these TV deals keep increasing at anywhere near the rate they are, bubble is about to burst.
Every god damn media company is now starting their own stand alone streaming service. Disney, CBS, NBCGold, etc., people can only pay for so many streaming services at once for christ's sake. Fucking cocksuckers, taking us for every penny.
That's bullshit that they won't be letting you stream the TV matches on the app/service and force you to be subscribed to a different service.
I remember the dark days of streaming almost every soccer game. Shit I use to have a pinned thread on how to stream matches from different websites/software. I never thought we would have to resort to that bullshit again. This is fucking horrible and it will definitely hurt the growth of the sport in the country. Putting games on TruTV and the semifinals and final on TNT is a fucking disgrace.
I had this exact conversation with a buddy. Fuck I pay DirecTV a shitpile of money for all their channels and don't mind because I got all the streaming along with it. Now if I continue to want every single channel they offer and access to streaming for shit like this it will go up even further. So maddening.... I for one have zero issues with Fox's coverage of the Champions League and their streaming that is offered along with it. This is a major step in the wrong direction.
This is what happens when people who have no business covering soccer start covering soccer. Thank god got r/soccerstreams
Univision better step up: http://worldsoccertalk.com/2017/08/...ns-league-viewers-turned-off-turners-paywall/
I'm pretty sure you can't use it on mac so I will continue to watch like 80% of non-EPL games in Russian (thanks sopcast).
Other than putting knockout games on FS2 when they have like 40 other options I tolerate Fox (helps when they use Sky announcers or whoever). Their coverage at the start of the CL deal was an abomination and shit like the Gus Johnson experiment backfired like crazy. Have hoped ESPN would get CL rights back ever since it went to Fox.
Today's matches (times in EST): 11:30 FC Astana v Celtic on FS2 14:45 Maribor v Hapoel Beer Sheva 14:45 Nice v SSC Napoli on FS1 14:45 Rijeka v Olympiacos on Fox Soccer Plus 14:45 Sevilla v Istanbul Basaksehir on FS2
Everybody should switch to the Sevilla match for the last 10 mins. Istanbul need one more goal to go through, they just tied it 2-2
