Yeah I was looking at something like this. Just very basic. https://www.americanmuscle.com/roug...16&T5_Var3=orange&GID=T527473&T5_Var4=T527473
I would spend the extra 100 and get the shocks if it were me: http://www.roughcountry.com/ford-suspension-lift-kit-554-20.html I would bet you can get those installed and a front end lineup done within your budget.
Thanks. You're probably right I'm just turning this thing over in 3-4 years and am looking for more front end ground clearance while weighing how much I really want to put into it.
Forums say that you can go as big as 295/55/20 and not have to lift the truck, but it's hard to say whether it will rub or not, depends on the backset on the wheels. Assuming there are no problems with the backset, you should be fine. 295/55/20 is a 832mm diameter 285/65/18 is a 828mm diameter
thx, it has a spring or something in the back i guess to clamp down and hold the card keeping it from falling out i tested it with my buisness card wasnt brave enough to test it with a credit card :lol
we are dangerously close to a Calvin pissing sticker - everyone put Google images down and take a breather
I'm a Ford guy but I do really like the look of the Ram Night edition trucks more than anything else out there at the moment
I like the appearance of the sierra more, but gm is missing a ton of features I think should be standard, as well as other optional features. No rear vents, rear seat heaters, automatic braking, adaptive cruise control are all things that are missing and unavailable on a $50k+ vehicle and that is unacceptable to me.
Something that drives me crazy, how do trucks still have fucking antennas, it's 20fucking17. I don't understand this.....it's a PITA
This is what i put on my F150, works great and have had no reception issues. $15.99 http://antennax.com/i-24625783-off-...MIoLXv_raT1QIVTZJ-Ch0lfweAEAQYAiABEgLT6vD_BwE
I was surprised my 2017 still had one. I never use the am/fm radio so maybe I'll just get something like baron posted
i have heard before the long antenna serves a purpose of letting you know if your truck will fit into a garage etc. height wise. not sure how true it is, but it does make some sense.
That's sharp looking...I'm just not a huge fan of so much chrome. A 3/4 ton is also way more than I would ever need.
Have a Silverado but our work trucks are fords and they get abused off-road everyday with no issues. Probably going with an diesel F250 next. Chevy/gmc are more than I want to pay and Dodge'd back seats are too small.
So far I've been happy with my F-250. I had some concerns when buying it, but everything is good so far. I have only put 800 miles on it...so it's still in the break in period.
Yeah, I'm buying a boat next year. The wife also wants an Airstream one day...but I'm not sure on that one lol.
living here in Fl and I wanna do the Bimini and Exumas Island trip. It's on my bucket list, we will do it one day.
Thinking about joining the truck club with my next vehicle purchase. Thinking the Chevy Canyon should meet my needs. Anyone have one?
Love my 2015 Denali but I agree - probably will drive this one till GM pulls their heads out of their asses & adds rear vents, rear seat heaters, adaptive cruise, push button start/push button door unlock buttons on the handles, blind spot monitor/rear cross traffic alert, and at least the option to get a heads up display. They offer all of that stuff on the Tahoes/Yukons/Escalades, so no idea why they won't do it on the trucks, especially since they've made GMC into their premium truck brand.
I was looking at getting a canyon/Colorado/Tacoma when I was buying. In the end I got a Ram Crew Cab and am really happy I did. The MPG gap between compact and half tons really isn't that large imo.
We are same Parents also have a place outside Panama City so I'd be towing the boat from Tampa to pcb through out the year too.
Hey I have a truck now. I leased it a couple weeks ago so I'm not really a truck owner but yolo I wanted an F-150 but it didn't fit in my garage so I got a GMC Canyon SLT 4x4 which I will drive until the Ranger comes out and I go back to based Ford The Canyon is p sweet in the meantime tho. Way nicer than the Colorado which felt incredibly cheap on the inside even at the highest trim level. Tacomas feel old and cheap on the inside too imo. 1500 lb payload capacity (5'2" bed) and tows 7k with the 3.6L I have. Comfortable on the inside with the crew cab. The F-150 gets comparable mileage with the ecoboost which is hilarious but I wasn't going to have a 45k truck sitting out in my driveway plus the midsize does everything I need and is easier to maneuver around parking lots. Feel p good about it
Too many random hailstorms have been popping up around here. Not gonna chance it with this aluminum truck.
So I had a tie rod replaced a few months ago. Just noticed the rubber boot on the inner rod isn't fastened down anymore... How fucked up is that tie rod now? No clue how long it's been like this. Hoping I can just refasten it myself rather than get it replaced.
