No I give a lot of a shit. I'm just trying to get back in power so we can actually battle racism and racist policies. The route were taking right now is not gonna get us back in power. Saying "you either agree with my political view or you're a piece of shit" is not ever ever going to be a winning approach. It's impossible to precisely quantify the number of American that are truly and deeply racist. Hillary was directionally correct when she said half of Trump voters were, but with 80% of Republicans still supporting Trump that was likely a low estimate. Whether Trump voters and Republicans are racist or not, if they voted for him they accepted racism and expressed comfort with it, even if they don't act it out day to day. UTR racism is no better than overt racism. The net number of racist Americans and people OK with it is disturbingly high.
