Their team's and our other 2 teammates itemization was shockingly bad tbh. Not a single force staff against a skywrath ult and a PA, late BKB's, a butterfly when 2 people on the other team already have MKB's, and WK and Jakiro aghs.
also, i didn't understand why swiggle didn't prioritze aghs on zeus. every pro game or stream i've seen says that item transforms the hero into an op thing and they had just sniper for melee damage to take out the nimbus. throw in my daggers + skywrath's spells and those nimbuses would've been really great. obviously we didn't need it but it seems like aghs on zeus is super great with the stun talent and i was surprised you put it off for so long.
Other items he needed more. BS was (correctly) targeting him in fights so without a Linkens he just dies to rupture and right clicks every time, so that had to come first. Probably didn't think sniper/WK would itemize so poorly either and aghs wouldn't be that good at that point. (If sniper just gets a pike like normal he can just force out of it and if WK gets a BKB like he should have it doesn't do much to him either)
Yeah, I had it queued up after I got travels and died before I could spend the gold. After that I just accumulated gold until I saw I had enough for Octarine and I wanted that extra sustain. Then I think I died once more after that and bought back trying to kill steal the bloodseeker. I had 3/4 items for it with like 10mins to go, but couldn't get to the secret shop to get the last. And that was right before we throned them... ...but also this. Poop confirmed
Playing against aghs AM as Nyx is hilarious. Turn on carapace, mana burn him, follow up with impale. Automatic 5 seconds of stun.
Definitely hyped for this squad. Well Zai, misery, and our salt lord. Ccnc and PJ are kinda unknowns for me. Will be interesting to see how good CC is with a captain like Peter. Zai offlane is gonna wreck.
Interested to see what kind of role Misery plays as a 4. Has traditionally played less farm-heavy soft supports and could work well with Zai who has always been best with high farm priority.

I stopped watching when I saw Zai wasn't there and the team was trash. I'll wait to judge until they're all accounted for. Was pretty underwhelmed by everyone minus PPD.
I see nothing wrong with that lineup. You could have easily had successful lanes had you played the 5pos: Offlane brood Mid sniper Jungle BS Safe PA
That's exactly what I did. Our offlane brood averaged 240gpm. He maxed w/e before getting Q. Sniper got shredded by OD mid. PA and I did great vs ES, but every time I rotated to another lane PA would die 1v1 to ES.
