I think he worked well with Xhaka-Ramsey. We seemed more balanced than with Özil in the mix. I wouldn't mind seeing more of them, as they are the future
Lost in the all about Ozil propaganda, our wing backs stayed at home for the most part and didn't play as attackers as they did early in the year. Reason why we were so much more compact and Xhaka didn't look isolated. Really good shape today.
I love him & what he brings to the team. Less might be more, in certain games... one of Özil / Ramsey should probably sit out
Completely agree and Ozil getting knocked off the ball too easily kills us in tough games, it's just overboard and Alexis always gets a pass because he looks determined.
Don't want to speak too soon but I feel like we have seen him enough now. How in the world was Tank free? I get that he might not be a fit for every league but he is tailor made for the Prem. Also, he is surprisingly great with the ball. Good touches and generally makes great decisions on either a quick pass or to push the ball himself. Nice shot too, seems to at least put the ball on target.
what are you guys hoping to see tomorrow? I'm hoping for something along these lines - ----------------Giroud-------------- Nelson-------Iwobi-------Walcott ---------Wilshere--Elneny-------- AMN------Per---Holding---Chambers ---------------Macey----------------- a little unfair to Maitland-Niles to play him out of position there, but there aren't many options.
Another L for the Ox Quite enjoying this after how painful that first year of Van Persie at United was
we get reiss, but, as expected, he's shunted to rwb to accommodate theo beggars can't be choosers i guess
outside of Alexis, who I guess needs some more minutes under his belt to get fit, what's weird about it? pretty much exactly what we expected, no?
Are they using 4K cameras for this or something? Streaming from espn on my MacBook and it looks amazing.
