Injury bug hitting the Blues already Sanford, Berglund, Bouwmeester and Steen wont start the season. The first two are out for several months.
I hope the Sens steer clear of Duchene. Feel like Dorion is going to make a push over the next year or so and make some risky calls.
Honestly we're a top 4 team in the east, but that's been with Karlsson in the lineup imo. Gonna be interesting to see how we can survive without him to start
That it is amazing. My buddy has season tickets so I'll go at some point but man this team is bad and won't likely be fun to watch.
I remember a decade or so ago when they decided interference needed to go. Was some of the worst hockey for a month or so with all the stoppages
They won't call the taps that don't impact the play, but they are going to call all the ones that result in the puck carrier losing the puck.
No real problem with guys using their shaft with two hands on their stick, usually in tight during a battle. It's when they use the blade as a weapon. That's what causes injuries.
The explanation video was saying it was way late, have certainly seen a lot worse not going to the league office. I've tried watching parts of a couple preseason games and no idea what is currently going on with the way they are calling games now.
Duchene will be dealt to the Penguins a few weeks into the season for Carl hagelin. Chad Ruhwedel or Carter Downey and a future second round pick.
Some of the Mizzou guys were discussing the Pens going to the white house and BLACK & GOLDschlager said: I wish Paul kayria still played and was on that team just to watch trump freak out over his last name
He's a hockey robot. Reading anything more into him saying its an honor to go is a little much. I wish the team wouldn't go but hockey I don't think we'll see the same level of protest, especially since the league isn't mostly American like other major sports.
I'm not surprised that was his response, but I'm not sure he should just get a pass since he acts like a robot. it's a strange dynamic and tough for me to call because individually he's not an American, but he's the face of an American franchise. it would be nice if he'd speak candidly on issues but I doubt it ever happens.
Athletes shouldn't be getting attacked for staying neutral on political issues. Not everyone has the personality to speak out or have the complete knowledge to not sound ignorant on topics. Better that than saying something stupid.
