Finally watched GotG2. I had mostly heard that it wasn't as good as the first one, but I liked it more. I had no idea about the plot and am terrible at guessing movies so I was blown away.

I'm okay with Disney launching their own service. They're probably the only studio with enough content to justify it. WB is close, but Disney has thousands of hours of programming, and they've not all been in one place or another. Assuming this means we can stream any Disney movie or show they've ever produced anytime we want, I'm in.

It's the companies like CBS that have no business launching a streaming service.

 

Yeah if Disney has all of their shit available for streaming at the $10/month I'm in. Of course I have 2 kids under 8.

Both DareDevil seasons were great, imo. Those are the only ones though.

JJ was good, Luke Cage hit and miss, and Iron Fist was not great bob.

 

The drunk guy should have been the iron fist.

 

I feel like it will be attached to Thor: Ragnarok, but as a shameless fanboy, I'd love to see it ASAP.

 

Oh, I 100% agree the trailer will be released online the week prior to Ragnarok. Disney/Marvel has done really well of releasing trailers the week prior to their other big releases and attaching those trailers to the film.

I expect Infinity War to drop online a few days before Ragnarok, and also be attached as a trailer to the film in theaters.

Made it through the first three episodes of Defenders and I'm not sure if it's shitty acting or just average acting delivering shitty writing. Bummer. Iron Fist guy was good in Game of Thrones, but the Rand portrayal struggles. It's fun that they've finally assembled three episodes into the season though.

 

Yeah it's not great. DareDevil squaring up with Iron Fist was fun though.

I saw a few headlines that said it was getting cancelled but guess it's not confirmed. Probably bullshit.
