Who is more salty? Jury or canes in this thread? It's an absolute joke that Paul didn't win. Will be my last season. Props to raven and matt for not making it personal and voting for who should have won.
It's always funny to me that the folks who end up the saltiest BB players are the ones who claim to be 'super fans'. Mark, Alex ..
Paul by no means should have been simply given this victory. The one flaw in his game is that he hurt a lot of feelings and hurt them hard. That did him in, that's ball
This was just like the dude that dominated two seasons of survivor but didn't win either because everyone hated him. Can't remember his name
Man, I'm so disappointed I couldn't watch live. I won't be able to watch until tomorrow morning. A+. I was worried that I was setting myself up for disappointment thinking the jury could steal the victory for Paul but nope, it really happened.
Wait, Paul didn't win? I didn't watch. As much as I have HATED this season, he was the only real player worthy of anything.
JOSH WON!?!?! Holy shit. Hands down the worst season of all time. Go bang some more pans you fucking retard.
Josh is the least deserving winner compared to who he was sitting next to in the final 2 that I can recall. I really think all Paul had to do was answer the jury questions honestly and he would have pulled Cody, Mark, or Elena. Instead he continued to lie while then seemingly admitting to the same things in his final speech. I think the waffling on questions compared to his speech was the final nail in the coffin for Paul although the exit interviews may indicate that he was done for before the jurors walked in. This jury is almost as bitter as Dan's jury in BB14.
Interesting that Jessica would have voted Paul. Also I appreciate Jessica's lovely tits telling me how cold it was in the studio Knowwhatimsayin????
Have never hated someone more than Josh during the season, only to root for him over a more hated player in Paul. Paul's dirty play, overlying, cockiness, 3 week gift of safety and being the only vet in the house just annoyed the fuck out of me. Compared himself to Derrick, what a joke imo, everyone loved Derrick, half the Jury hated Paul. Derrick led people down a path to their own decision, Paul yelled it in their ear until they listened. Derrick was also loyal to the 1 person he made a ride or die deal with, Paul was loyal to the people he felt were the weakest so he could have an easy win, and still lost. Fuck that guy. Go Cody
I was trying to remember what season that was last night. paul should have won, but it was fun to see him lose. also enjoyed dr will working the jury over and then them looking equally stupid in their dr vids talking about how paul was their guy and they trust him 100 %.
He absolutely should have won. But when you stab everyone in the back and then lie about it even after they are voted out of the house, there are going to be hurt feelings. Paul played a brilliant game to get to the final 2 but a terrible game to actually win. Bitter jury will always be a thing and he didn't account for it at all
Absolutely, they are human beings. I have no issues with people not voting for a person who played dirty and burned them, and lied to the bitter end. At least Josh came clean in every single one of his DR good byes. People will respect honesty over a clever player IMO. Still so happy Paul lost, fucking cunt. He should have been out week 1. BB gave him 3 weeks of safety, like he wasn't going to win the first popularity contest, give me a break. They wanted their ratings driver in the game as long as possible
I go back and forth on this because I think these contestants were generally the dumbest group of people that I've seen on BB, but...Josh fully recognized that Paul was manipulating the game to avoid getting any blood on his hands, and those goodbyes were his only chance to make that public. I thought that was brilliant and I don't think the jury would have pieced it together in time without it.
Oh for sure, this was a very weak cast, players were way over trusting. I mean fuck they were throwing HOHs with 7 people left. Josh did eventually catch on to Paul but was still dumb enough to put him in the chair next to himself at the end... Just took too long, way too long.
I've got no problem with production hooking him up with 3 weeks of safety. Just being a returning player puts a massive target in his back early in the game. The fact that Paul walked all the way to final 2 is 100% on the players. They were brutal.
But that's the thing, he wouldn't have if he didn't have the secret safety. He would have been back doored and taken out week 1. Instead, Cody got boned by having to nominate like 5 people in week 1 and make a bunch of enemies who Paul in turn gathered up to flip the house. I just feel Cody got boned and Paul was gifted a lot. I mean he took what everyone gave him, kudos, and Cody fucked up when it mattered most. But still, just not a fan of a single vet being on the show. He couldn't have pulled half the crap he did if there was 1 other good player in the game with him IMO
Cody never should have gone rogue and taken a shot at Paul without discussing it with anyone else. It was a really bad game move because nobody else was on team get out the vet just yet. I agreee 100% that he got screwed having to nominate 5 different people week 1 but nominating Paul without discussing it with anyone else was completely on him. Again the safety was ok with me because Paul is the only one who walked in the game with a target on his back. Giving him a couple weeks to make relationships was fine by me. Imo.
I def would not have made that move without discussing it with Jess, Mark & Matt (he closest peeps at the time) but i think if Paul goes home it turns out to be a great move in the end. But i def agree, don't go rogue that early
Says who? Once he's up there and exposed, he can do all he wants to campaign for votes but the fact he's a vet, has had a shot at BB before and is a very good player who already made final 2 is a very easy argument to sell. He's as good as gone IMO.
So it looks like the jury had decided vote for Josh before asking questions based on how Cody answered some exit interview questions:
You underestimate how much mind Control Paul had over the house from the get go. The same we you question me with “says who” can be the response to your thoughts as well.
Lol at any argument against Paul not winning. Don't get me wrong I hate him and glad he lost... but he was the most deserving. There were probably 5 more players more deserving than Josh and Paul had him under just as much control as everyone else. I mean to take him to the final 2 was laughable.
Guys, what part of the game do you not understand? It is all about relationships. Yes Paul made many, but they were all shallow, self-serving and fake and that was found out in the end. He played the game extremely selfishly, not that that is wrong, but the hurt feelings factor into this equation every season. This is why he lost and it's legitimate.
It absolutely is legitimate. This is part of the game. Why do you think Paul was trying to end on the best terms possible with every houseguest who was about to be evicted? He knew that this was a big part of the game. People have to like you, people cannot feel fucked over by you. There's a big human element to this game I feel like you guys are failing to grasp. It has little to nothing to do with winning comps
He didn't hurt feelings the way Paul did, he was at least real. Gtfo if you cannot understand what I'm trying to explain to you. It's pretty basic
Nothing was more annoying than Christmas thinking she's some inspiration to people for playing Big Brother with a broken foot. It's more difficult to live your everyday life with a broken foot than playing fucking Big Brother.
I expect Christmas to be brought back next season. They give her a chance with both feet. I was shocked Cody got America's favorite. Thought Jason was going to get it.
Think those comments about raping Kevin's wife and forcing his children to watch probably hurt Jason's chance to win America's favorite.
Think you're giving him a bit too much credit, iirc, he was trying to deflect attention away from himself early on and it wasn't until Cody attempted to nominate him that things started to turn and people flocked to his side. If he's on the block with no power and half the house against him I think he has a lot less "mind control" than you claim. Also, the 2nd caveat to his power was the fact Cody nominated Christmas which pushed her naturally into an alliance with Paul without him doing anything but acting "pissed". I don't think Josh deserved to win over Paul. Paul won comps, Paul controlled votes, Paul controlled people's effort in comps. But I hate the fact that he was given a 2nd shot with an entirely new cast, no vets to compete against, and everyone went along with what he said so willingly. He was only challenged by Cody and Jess and because of his safety he was able to rally an alliance against them. I stand by what I said, take away his 3 weeks of safety, he's out early. Put another vet or 2 in the game, he doesn't get to float around in 3 separate alliances. He wouldn't have been able to play the game he did with out a shit tier cast. That's what pissed me off about Paul. I don't hate the guy personally, just the type of game he was able to play based on his experience. Did he deserve to win based on his statistics? Yes. But am I happy anyone but him won, very much so.
I think they might give Jessica another shot next season. She showed signs of actually being a decent player, but she was tied to Cody and listened to his terrible read on things way too often.
Would be a fan of that. still for not putting up alex. She called exactly what was happening and just boned herself
That's exactly the moment I was thinking, but I couldn't remember the details. She called it, wanted to make the move, but Cody talked her out of it. Would have changed the entire game.
