Really thought Kate annoys the fuck out of me sometimes. Glad to see her go back to the audition though and I liked the way she handled the rejection. Also, Toby is a real bitch sometimes with how he handles things. Like, you're mad that Kate's millionaire brother buys dinner all the time? GTFO.
Just finished binging this show from the first season on a recommendation from a friend. Great television. I won't get into my thoughts on season one, because it has been discussed a lot in this thread and my opinions have already been expressed. Season premiere thoughts: - Loved the William monologue. - Beth wanting to adopt an older at risk youth is fantastic, and will definitely lead to some great plot with the dichotomy between his upbringing until then clashing with Randall's. - Toby is just the best. - Some thoughts on Jack's death: They have a dog in the scene where the children find out, so it's definitely a little ways in the future. I honestly doubt it has anything to do with alcohol. Seems like a red herring to me. They've made him such an incredible man and father. I don't see the writers killing him in a way that looks bad on him. Especially with how all the children responded to it. Honestly, with the renewal through three seasons, I'm guessing it is some type of murder at this point. That gives a season for the investigation (and finger pointing at Miguel).
What? The kids are at Miguel’s house when they’re crying. Also, you think Rebecca marries her husband’s killer?
Well obviously in that scenario Miguel wouldnt have been found out. Also I dont think this will be by murder, that seems like the show would have to change way too much.
I guess I didn't connect the dots about them being at Miguel's house. Just seemed like the dog was one of the clues they were talking about during the episode. And I didn't say Miguel did it. I'm saying it is a TV show. Jack is a very beloved character by the audience. Miguel is disliked by the general audience because he took Jack's place. It only makes sense the writers will cast at least some suspicion on him, even if it is just him becoming attracted to Rebecca after his divorce.
Again, I never, ever said Miguel did it, if they go that route with his death. I agree it would be ridiculous. But the show obviously isn't afraid of throwing out red herrings. Casting suspicion on Miguel, considering his future with Rebecca, is going to be pretty obvious, IMO.
Legit theory: Kate starts the fire, Jack dies in a car crash rushing home, which is why Kate feels guilty.
I liked it a lot...thought it kind of kept a level of anxiety for the first 50 minutes and then all positives at the end.
This isn’t a confirmed spoiler, but more of an observation and guess. I spoilered it in case anyone hasn’t watched tonight’s episode. Spoiler Wife and I took note of the inspection windshield decal today that said 98 on it, presumably for the year the scene was taking place in. We went back and rewatched the scene where Rebecca pulls up to the fire and the Jeep has the same 98 decal. No idea how long it will take to get there, but his death is imminent.
Just cause we know jack dies doesn't mean he dies last season, this,or next. They can drag on on the young lives forever. We don't need jack to die, we want it cause we are curious
Maybe I wasn’t clear. I meant it’s imminent in the timeline of Rebecca taking drunk Jack home. No doubt they’re going to milk this all season and we won’t see him die until the finale or next season.
"You know what you're problem is? You exist." man if I said that toy my mom I would get a boot up my ass still to this day but tbqh if I was a female and my mom was Mandy fucking Moore my life would be incredibly shitty as well
but seriously your mom let your dad cum all up in her and then she carried you and your one alive sibling and one dead sibling in her uterus for 9 months and you have the nerve to say that
That dress is not doing her any favors, good lord. Also, I love Toby. And I legit welled up during Jack's talk with teenage Kate at the end of this week's episode.
So wasn't expecting that ending with Kate. And that black girl is a bitch. They should send her back.
the episode was going alright until the last couple minutes when the black bitch cut her hair and they showed Kate being pregnant now I'm all like
