I'm sure it's been mentioned and I missed it but how is Marvel so good at putting out great movies and then absolute dogshit at so many tv shows (with some good ones tossed in there)?

Perlmutter and Jeph Loeb are terrible at running Marvel television. You've got Feige making out of the box hires like Taika Waititi and James Gunn while Loeb is hiring someone shitty like Scott Buck for two different projects.

 

I think it's also the characters they have pushed. Luke Cage and Iron Fist aren't really the carry their own show types like Daredevil or The Punisher. Jessica Jones wasn't either, but they scored huge in landing David Tennant as the Purple Man.

So the fight scene between medusa and the other girl at the end of the episode. They cut away for a second then return to the fight and it's gone form middle of the day to night time and medusas hair has grown a 1/4 inch. Such a bad show all around. Those fucking costumes and sets. Horrible. And Ramsey was good in GoTs, he's fucking cringy and they center the serious on BB who can't talk? Not going to work well. Ugh, such a waste.
