Argentina-Uruguay makes sense. Paraguay doesnt, but with the expansion I bet we wont see any more WC's hosted by only one country.

Paraguay only has 1 stadium that meets World Cup attendance standards, so couldnt be more than a handful of group stage games. And its a pretty meh stadium.

But Fifa will appreciate the unity, bringing a new host country into the fold. Like we did with Canada.

    2026 is USA/Canada/Mexico, 2030 is Argentina/Uruguay/Paraguay, 2034 is China and maybe 2038 is England?

UK bid would be a lot better in terms of citizens not having to waste a bunch of taxpayer dollars on stadiums and easy for traveling supporters. But, FIFA will go for the sentimental Centenario bid and it'll be great TV times for us here.

English hooligans whose passports are confiscated before every tournament would love a World Cup at home.

After Brazil I can't see any country in good conscience agreeing to spend a bunch of money on stadiums. Maybe non-profit FIFA can use some of that over $1 billion saved to help? lolwrongnumber

I thought 2030 was a forgone conclusion for Argentina/Uruguay. It seems like a no brainer

Im just surprised Paraguay was included in the bid, but if they can improve the Chaco I am all for it.
