CONMEBOL is going to be fun as well. ChileanNole give us your educated predictions on what will happen Ecuador v Argentina, Brazil v Chile, Peru v Colombia, Uruguay v Bolivia, Paraguay v Venezuela Also that was an image taken from the BBC which looks like they took a low res screenshot from somewhere else
Paraguay over Venezuela Uruguay over Bolivia Argentina over Ecuador Peru Columbia draw Chile over unmotivated Brazil Brazil 38 Uruguay 31 Chile 29 Argentina 28 Columbia 27 Paraguay 27 Peru 26 Ecuador 20 Bolivia 14 Venezuela 9
I'm going with worst case scenario for Chile in the other matches, forcing them to get at least one point in Brazil: Paraguay over Venezuela Uruguay over Bolivia Peru v Colombia draw Argentina over Ecuador Chile draws Brazil Brazil 39 Uruguay 31 Argentina 28 Chile 27 +2 Colombia 27 +2 Paraguay 27 -3 (Assuming they win by 2) Peru 26
You have 2 Copas in a row, missing a WC is nothing and can just jerk off to those highlights. Chile is probably a quarterfinal team at best for the wc too.
I never thought I would see a Copa America win let alone two in a row. I'm coming to the realization that the golden generation is almost done and I doubt I'll see another in my lifetime. Even when we had Zamorano and Salas (which are both better strikers than what we've put out there during this run), it was not enough as our defense/midfield was shit. But I really want one more run in a tournament as this team seems to be play much better in a tournament setting (unless we get Brazil, which also adds to my anxiety for Tuesday).
He would likely end up pulling his hammy in the run up to the tournament anyway, as much as I love him as a player.

Greece are almost certain to be the final team in the playoffs -- they only need to win at home to Gibraltar to clinch the runners-up spot in their group. They have already played all their games for the calculation and have 13 points -- one more than Slovakia -- so just have to secure second spot. Even if Greece fail to win, they can only be overtaken by a win for Bosnia and Herzegovina and that would leave them on 11 points, one less than Slovakia, so they cannot now qualify for the World Cup. So Slovakia's only hope is this: Greece fail to beat Gibraltar and Bosnia win in Estonia. The runners-up in Group A are most likely to be Sweden, who would have to lose by seven goals away Netherlands to miss out on the playoffs, while France would also be through if they dropped into second by failing to win at home to Belarus. The full table of second place teams is as follows: Portugal 18 (+18) Denmark 14 (+7) Italy 14 (+3) Sweden 13 (+10) Northern Ireland 13 (+4) Greece 13 (+4) Republic of Ireland 13 (+2) Slovakia: 12 (+5) Croatia: 11 (+2) Greece, Portugal, Sweden and Sweden are in action on Tuesday.
