Thought it was extremely underwhelming as well. No open world, all enemies pretty much the same, only 3 character classes, and especially the run around with the DLC. It just massively lacked content with regard to how it was marketed. I played the D2 beta on PC, it was fun but it didn't really captivate me, seems like more of the same
Yeah. If it gives me the hours I think it will them I Ln cool with it. 99 for the first year is fine. Buy it now or buy it later. Either way I'm paying for it.

would be interested to know how many people trashing it actually spent a lot of time raiding and playing with others instead of playing alone and treating it like cod and doing pvp only. because pvp did suck and playing it alone sucked. raiding did not.
You're using the argument that you have to get into the end-game, play with friends, and avoid PVP as an indicator that it's a good game?
What it did well it did very well, but those things weren't super accessible. If they fix up pvp (dont even care if they do tbh, its not why i play) and add more story content and put lore in the game instead of on the Internet (both done) destiny 2 should be everything destiny 1 was supposed to be. Except open world. Not plausible imo.
God Destiny was so much fun. I'd hate to have missed out on all the fun I had with that game because I gave up on it too soon
Destiny was fine. Don't really understand the diehards who defend it so aggressively but whatever. I remember loading up the same mission over and over just because it had the most loot drops. Did the first raid with tmbers and it was fun. But there was zero story and shit got repetitive quick. Bosses were just bullet sponges too. Not a fan of that.
Destiny is a great game. Obviously it's subjective. I'm excited about part two and can't decide which class to start with

Played destiny 2 for awhile today. Love the changes. Games graphics are great. If you liked the original, then you love this one.
Rainbow Six DLC is solid. Battlefield 1 DLC is badass. Really impressed by it. I'm "working from home" today so i'll be playing it a good amount.
The BF1 update is great. Maps are way better than the French dlc and they added a ton of progression tasks. Haven't tried the new game mode but the new operations are a blast.

I am a moron but I seriously can not find the search clan feature on Bungie's website. I hit clans and it asks when clan I want to create. I hit my clans and same screen. Thinking it may have to be done from my XB.

Buddy and I were playing 2k. Some kid on our team is costing us the game, not passing, taking retarded shots. Joins our party. Talks shit. We tell him to fuck off. Boot him from the party. Somehow both of us get banned within hours. He got a 2 week comm ban. I got a 1 week live ban. It is what it is but kinda shitty to be banned from live (not communications) for a week on my only compliant in years. Edit: After googling it seems a lot of people have been banned in the past few days. Must be doing some ban wave right now.

We reported him in-game and he called us fucking losers, so then we did it through XB1. Lmbo, hopefully he got comm banned. I don't really know how to report through Xbox so I may have messed it up.

Hadn't had a complaint in over a year and only had one compliant on my account. Pretty weak they banned me for a week on that. My buddy got a 1 week comm ban. Then asked for an appeal. They messaged him back and told him that while checking his appeal they found other violations and bumped his week comm ban to a full 2 week live ban.
Joey Freshwater is an alias that Lane Kiffin was rumored to be using to pick up girls at bars while at Alabama. I made the Xbox Live gamertag with that name right around the time the rumor started (I have over 25 gamertags so there's a lot of silly stuff) and was just offering it to the user here with the same name if he wanted it.
