Welcome to my life. I hate not being able to talk about this with anyone, this season was amazing. Sad that tonight is the last episode of the season but excited to see what's in store.
Have they confirmed another season? Assuming tomorrow's episode is them crushing the Saxon army, I wonder what next season would focus on.
Yes season 5 is confirmed. I would assume it's about them exploring the Mediterranean and also have something to do with Rollo and Francia.
There's some pretty historical stuff that they could focus on Spoiler Harold Fairhair actually does become the first King of Norway. Spoiler The kid Alfred in Wessex becomes Alfred the Great and stops the Vikings from taking all of England
Finally got around to watching. Like the show, but man, I hate almost everyone in it. Like I want pretty much everyone but Bjorn to die.
this show is right up there with game of thrones for me, i have rewatched this whole show numerous times.
Would love to know why this show never gets any award nominations. Acting, writing, costuming...nothing. What the fuck
Don't know how there isn't more talk about this show. Was very skeptical how it would go without Ragnar but this season has been as great as any. Next week is the mid-season finale, thats not the end of the series right?
Yeah I’m obsessed with this show as I have stated numerous times, it’s just as good as Game of Thrones so I am surprised it doesn’t have more pub. Correct it is the mid season finale, there are 24 total episodes of season 5. Season 6 has already been confirmed as well just an fyi
Floki is pissing me off with his utopia bullshit. I'm glad his stupid temple burnt down. Agreed though that it's been a pretty good season without ragnar
The actors that play Bishop Heahmund and Ivar have been amazing this season. Can't believe they did Aethelwulf like that
I haven't liked this season at all. Nothing redeeming about it for me. I don't care about this stupid ass brother on brother bullshit or Ivar's butt hurt Oedipus complex-driven revenge on Lagertha. Potentially interesting storylines like Floki in Iceland and Bjorn in the Mediterranean have been complete duds. Ivar storming through England never came to fruition. Heahmund is a less interesting Athelstan. Not sure there's any reason for me to keep watching if the next episode after the break isn't any better (maybe Rollo changes the dynamic up?).
I don't expect my sentiment to be popular. Everyone else on here is seemingly loving this season. And that's fine. To each their own. If nothing else, at least it had a good run (for me).
I need to go back and rewatch the most recent episode. It's probably because I wasn't paying attention that much, but it seemed really disjointed.
It just started off with a bang and was nothing but action the entire time. I think it was disjointed on purpose
It was flashing back and forth between the present (post-battle) and past (mid-battle). It was odd because they haven't done that much in the series. Meh.
Binged the whole last season on Sunday to catch up. This show never disappoints. Most underrated show on television.
