tempted to pick this up. have gotten kinda burnt out, but every time i go back to syndicate to finish it i have fun. have played them all.
I’ve hated assassin’s creed since unity but my friend I game share with picked up Origins It’s fucking good
feels like they took some things from Far Cry. a very different feel for an AC game. enjoying it so far.
Big fan of it I have played it a ton (close to 20 hours) and I love all the side quests and things you can do. I havent made it too far into the actual story yet since I have done so much other stuff highly recommend if you have liked the others.
Best one since Black Flag IMO. The extra year really helped. The storyline is more repetitive than side missions but its not boring.
This is where I was until after today. Have the whole week off work and got in the lab. Like BP said, parts of the story are fairly repetitive but the diversity of shit you can do outside of the main story is awesome. The Phylakes are fucking badass. The tombs in the pyramids are fun as shit.
Started Origins, gotta get used to the control scheme. I’m so stuck on the Arkham style combat from Shadows of War
really? i cannot get used to the controls. also dont like that certain moves can only be done as combos (cause i cant remember the buttons, ala throw smoke only after landing a hit)
I fucking love this game it’s a top 3 AC for me. Versatility with weapons and how to approach combat is wild. This map is insane. It’s on par with Witcher 3 in terms of size and beauty. Doesn’t feel as alive but still amazing. Fuck. Flying into a group of dudes with a spear that does bleeding damage is my shit. I just found Cyrene last night. It’s goregois and massive and so detailed and has nothing to do with the story at all. Fuck even the guards speak Roman in it.
Yea the overall scope of the map is amazing. When I came across Memphis for the first time I was in awe. I also love the combat and the different ways to approach a battle, especially against enemies that are higher rank than you. I also love the chance in the eagle vision and having Senu.. getting to scope out an area/encampment before attacking is a joy
70 hours in level 40 plus haven’t finished story Best AC by far. Roman expansion in January and sequel in Greece. Bayek trilogy is going to be wild so pumped. My favorite period in world history
I’m pushing 30 hours and I thought I had played a lot lol I’m excited to know how much more I can explore outside of the story Yes please to any and all expansions
I cannot express enough how satisfying this game is in every facet. I’ve played every AC but Syndicate and this is the first one I’ve gone out of my way to hit all synch points on (58 in total) the map is fucking gorgeous and combat is sooooo fucking fun doesn’t hurt Bayek is the best character in the series either.
76 hours in. I am fucking geeking out on the historical figures they placed in this game. Still haven’t finished the main plot yet. Killed all the phylakes and did all of the arena fights. Cannot stop playing this. Feel sad as I approach the end.
This game feels like it’s going to keep drawing me in. I definitely haven’t felt this connected to an AC game since the 2nd one. It hasn’t felt like a chore cleaning up the map despite the amount of stuff to do and see.
two questions: I am about to finish the second set of guys, 4 of them. there were the ones that Cleoptra first gives you after meeting her. How much more story is there after that? How hard was that special Sekmet mission? it popped up again and I was thinking of trying it. I am currently level 38
If you’re not a level 40 you’re probably gonna get one hit or two hit killed by any trial of the gods
If you're just meeting Cleopatra you've still got a ways. I actually beat Sekhmet at lvl 39. Its more about your bow and and how leveled up your ranged damage is.
beat Anubis last night (at least I think it was that one. the giant Crocodile) attempted to beat the Wolf God but got smoked with him at like 33% health. going to try to beat him again today
ok yea Anubis got fucking hard real quick.. like I said I got him down to like 33% health, I had full health then out of no where I was dead
Maybe one of you can help me out. I have defeated all of the “Gods” and gotten the gear but the quest still shows as being active. Am I missing something or do they just stay there?
Just got the "Gifts from the Gods" sword and shield. Think I'm sticking with these for the rest of the game now
finished the game last night.. extremely sad the adventure is over. I cannot wait for some DLC to come out. finished all the side quests/areas and clocked in total around 75 hours. goddamn was it good fun
