Alonso was absolutely horrible last night. In fairness to the defense, they cant stay on the field the entire night. Jay Cutler threw maybe 4-5 passes last night that would qualify as the most innacurate passes Ive probably seen in years - like 10 feet over the guys head and they were only 10 yard passes to a wide open guy. Are people really that upset about trading Ajayi?
I mean...you can easily argue he has maximized the talent he has.... Although whatever his role in signing Cutler deserves whatever comes to him
they got horrible value for him. even if you acknowledge that he is a locker room cancer, and has a bum knee with only a year or 2 left in it, a late 4th is awful value for Ajayi
everyone in the front office needs to go. I like gase, but if that results in him going as well, so be it.
Is it? If we were in their position and gave up a third for a cancer with bum knees Id probably be pissed.
We got a fourth I believe. Hard to believe we couldn't have gotten a third for him. Seems like we will only check in to make deals with the Saints or Philly. Also, if we let Jarvis walk because we overpaid Stills and grossly overpaid Branch, I'll be mad but not surprised. Jarvis isn't a stud #1 but he's pretty damn good. Can't keep shedding our most talented young players. I get Ajayi (though I thought we could have gotten more) but no way we can lose both Ajayi and Landry who were our best two players on O. If we resign Landry at $12mm per that's around 10th in the league at WR...he's not quite that good but he's not too far off. That's a fair price imo. I can't believe we are paying Andre Branch $10mm in 2018
I don't give a fuck about dead money. branch needs to be cut ASAP. It seems obvious they don't want to pay landry. he is gone as a FA and all we will get back is a late 3rd. If that was the case, he should have been dealt as soon as Tanny went down. this teams refusal to realize when it is "over" sets them back years
We have the worst LBers in the league...it's baffling how we can put out a unit that bad Interior OL isn't too far behind
Held them to 2 yards in the first quarter and it's all going to be undone In a minute because field goals..
if we somehow make the playoffs you can tag me with that post for the rest of the god damn year for all I care
In his first mock draft, McShay projects Miami to select Notre Dame junior guard Quenton Nelson, who had a very good season. “Guard is a glaring need for the Dolphins, who need to protect whomever is at QB and get more push in the running game,” McShay said. “Nelson is the most NFL-ready offensive lineman in this class and a road-grader (listed at 6-foot-5, 325 pounds). He’s ready to start right away.”
