Feels like this panama thing should be big but won't be because we live in a dystopian political hellscape
Ther have been about 100 things that individually would have nearly ended any other presidency before Donald came around. This is the worst timeline. Nothing matters. Eat Arby's.
This is how I'm viewing it. So much shit that takes a week of unpacking and digging and following up just falls through the cracks bc of the next scandal. There's literally so much drama it's impossible to stay focused
I don't want her to run again, but part of me would enjoy the anger it would create in him were she to beat him. Having to transition the office over to her and his bitterness would be incredible to watch.
I mean, She right....but why is anyone even talking to her??? Can she not go walk in the woods and hide with Bill Clinton somewhere? Bae Michelle and Barack Obama can be the ex-pres and 1st lady we fawn over
You think he’s just going to hand over the keys peacefully at all if he loses in 2020? Way closer to 98%. He’s going to go on an epic tweet storm after the loss and do everything possible to stall the transition.
It's literally hard to imagine 3 more years of what we've been subjected to in the last year. Also disappointed to see this. One of the few remaining ways out of this shit.
Anyone saying she needs to go away can fuck right off, I don’t want her to run but if republicans want to use her as an scapegoat she has the right to speak up:
He'll just bail and make Jared handle stuff from his cell. But, seriously I imagine if takes an L he'll resign or something to "work on his businesses" Trumpers will eat it up, and Pence would have to handle the change in power, No way Donald does anything without preserving his fan base.
“I’m already the best president the earth planet has ever seen. Hence there fore, i will not seek re-election and retire to the Southern White House with Hope and our new son Sergei”.
TBH those posts are likely bait, as there's a few of us that consistently defend HRC. Not really interested in tangling with the Bros anymore. Would be nice tho if folks took a step back and listened to Hillary. She was right about: The Deplorables Trump being Putin's puppet Coal not coming back Trump being triggered by tweets Enough evidence to suggest the election was ratfucked, so nothing wrong with taking a look and raising questions about legitimacy.
We accomplished more in 4 years than any other president in history, we’ve overturned all of Obama’s awful regulations, Lyndon B. Johnson’s awful executive orders and Abraham Lincoln’s illegal laws.
The whole Hillary needs to go away argument is stupid. She’s a private citizen who has a long career speaking publicly and is looked up to by a lot of people/women. Like my wife loves Hillary. I don’t but people do She can talk if she wants to. If she tries to run again and people don’t vote for her in the primary then she can go away
My shitty little webcast company is recognized as "instant news" and I constantly get overtures to buy extended advertising. If I went to straight made up bullshit interspersed with high school sports it would easily fly under the radar.
My coworker has started complaining to me about being on salary and working 45 hours a week. She makes 40k and voted for Trump and loves being republican. I told her that there was a law that was going to make it so she would have to be converted to hourly and then she would be available for overtime but I said I hadn't heard what happened with it and that I think it is suposed to go in to effect soon. She got all excited and googled it to find out what I knew last year. Trumps dept of labor killed it. I'm going to take great joy sending her schedule this week. At least she doesnt have to worry about being told happy holidays this year.
Born rich. Has done everything he can to dwindle his fortune. Has been bailed out over and over by the government. Literally just got fined for laundering money and committing fraud. Got a draft deferment. Countless other things. It's no wonder he thinks the world revolves around him.
The Bama senate seat was competitive before all the Moore pedo stuff started to roll out. It was a mistake for Dems not to go all in from the get go. Incredibly rare chance to pick up a deep red seat, and cut the majority to 51-49. But now Dems would rather do the circular firing squad routine with Franken, whose actions are awful but in a different universe than Moore and Trump, and Gillibrand reminded everyone about Bill Clinton. So the media and Dems are focused on hand wringing over Franken and Bill Clinton. It's fuel for the right wing media and propaganda machine. Republicans in general, and specifically in Bama, are not going to say, "wow, look at the Dems. They are being so upstanding and moral in how they are dealing with Franken and the skeletons in their closet. We need to be more like them". No, they will get everything translated through Fox and Trump's twitter feed. Republicans are excellent at controlling the overall narrative, and duping their base repeatedly. It's absurd, but would not be surprised to see all of this create sympathy for Moore ("look at those Dems doing the same kind of stuff, we need to stick up for our team"), and gradually see him retake the polling lead, and win in a close vote in a December. Hope to be wrong, because getting the margin to 51-49 matters a ton right now.
The Franken allegations more closely parallel the allegations against trump (groping and forced kissing that he admitted to in the Access Hollywood tape) than the Moore allegations. That didn’t stop him from commenting.
