Congrats Bruins! Sources: Chip Kelly Has Made His Decision There's a considerable amount of information from various sources that the former Oregon and NFL coach Chip Kelly has decided on UCLA over Florida... Tracy Pierson - 22 minutes ago 3 Chip Kelly (Photo: USA TODAY Sports) A large number of reliable sources in the coaching and agent worlds are indicating that Chip Kelly has decided to coach at UCLA. The former Oregon Duck and NFL coach has been deciding between UCLA and Florida this week, but many sources are now saying he's opted for Westwood. Not only is that the consistent buzz among agents, but some assistant coaches who have previously worked with Kelly are telling various sources that they've spoken to Kelly about specifically joining him on the UCLA staff. No deal has been finalized with UCLA, to our knowledge, or that of any sources. It's known, however, that UCLA has made a substantial financial commitment to Kelly. UCLA firing Jim Mora Sunday, and absorbing his $12 million buyout, was a good indication that UCLA was stepping up financially. Sources are saying that Casey Wasserman, the UCLA alumni and donor -- who donated upward of $30 million to the Wasserman Center, the football-only facility on campus -- has been leading the effort to bring Kelly to UCLA. At this point, it appears to be in Kelly's court to formally pull the trigger. More programs have reached out to Kelly and his representatives, including Texas A&M, Nebraska and others. Of course, without a signed agreement with UCLA it's absolutely not a certainty. Coaches have been known quite frequently to change their minds at the last minute. But as of now, the overwhelming opinion from in-the-know sources is that, at this time, he's chosen to be the next UCLA head coach. It's uncertain if an agreement and an announcement is imminent, but it's expected to at least take until the weekend and after UCLA's game with California Friday night

Losing to UCLA in a coaching search with a multiweek head start? Well, you don't get Tripod membership by being an overachiever.
Classic leverage move to get Florida to pony up more cash. Won’t work, though. No way Florida believes he wants to coach at UCLA. Should have picked a more realistic school with football pedigree like Nebraska.
I can’t wait until this is done so you can be a about something else. He is going to UF calm the fuck down. Jesus
I'm being a faggot by posting the article your mods put out saying its a done deal? You should be celebrating, instead you are getting mad at me
My Mods? I don’t subscribe to any recruiting site but when I did I remember most if not all being pretty much full of shit. Sorry I lashed out at you but I feel betrayed by TrustyPatches lies
