What are the chances that Currie not only gets his buyout but sues the school for wrongful termination and other damages since people at the school were actively sabotaging his search?
This is one of the best sports stories in a while. I'm riveted. The best part is that Currie had fallen ass backwards into a guy who actually would have been one of the best hires they could have made. And then they fired him. Just fucking fantastic. Get me a reality TV show about this immediately.
Jimmy Sexton can you stop trying to be witty with the thread titles? Some of us are super busy and can't follow the thread all day. Please use the title for actual updates. Thanks.
Holy shit Goes to show how little attention was paid to Baylor before Shock Linwood knkcjed down the door.
If you can't drop everything to follow these glorious developments you need to reevaluate your job/life/priorities
Holy shit at Fulmer sabotaging the coaching hire so that he can move in on the AD job. What a massive fucking bitch.
You want baseless rumors? Spoiler Being told: Currie, lobbying for his job, went after Leach on his own accord. Fulmer was out of the mix, both ways. Neither for or against. It was all Currie. Currie drafted an MOU on his own accord. Currie leaked the info for Leach himself to save his rear via Haslam. Haslam has said NO to Leach from the beginning. Haslam demanded Currie be relieved of duties no matter of his buyout via Davenport. Davenport marched the order. NOW Davenport is moving Fulmer to AD. HASLAM IS LOSING HIS MIND. This was not approved via Haslam. Changing of the guard if you will. Haslam had someone else lined up (not sure who). Haslam has opened Pandora's box on himself and will be, per say, beheaded from this process. Moving Forward: The expectation is that Fulmer is going to "pull a F***ing rabbit out of his hat", I quote. Look for Cutcliffe, Tee, Miles, to be in the conversations heavily going forward.

Between the A&M search and this, I haven't done shit at work the past couple days. I may honestly get Currie'd and it will be worth it.
I lost my voice and can't really work (teacher). My students are watching a video and I have my feet up reading about this and Ole miss.
