its been being shilled like crazy, but if it hits a big exchange soon it could be good, i forget where you can buy it though
I just use their iOS platform, don’t want a third party involved. Binance has an api, but Apple doesn’t like it. iOS works for me and I’m fairly active.
Its very quick to move it there. Like instantly. If you look on the right side where all the different tokens are you should see it
I just set up a bunch of shit, set up my NEO wallet to collect gas, ark wallet and voted for a delagate, sent some alts to MEW, and now moved my BTC to the a wallet, Gonna purchase a harware wallet here soon. This hopefully will keep me from day trading so much and just HODL
Google “EOS + scam”... no opinion myself/haven’t looked into it, just know there’s stuff out there you may want to look into further.
All these cryptocurrancies are way to volatile to invest in. If you want good, solid returns in the future, I have one word: Plastics.
So i recently invested in the big 3. Not much but just wanted to get involved. The only question i have (right now) with a cryptocurency is who is there to assist with transactions if something goes wrong? For example, if i buy something with a debit card or credit card, and something goes wrong with the transaction, i can call the CC company or bank and they will look into it and fix the error. If i pay with a crpytocurrency, and something goes wrong with the transaction, is there anyone to assist me with the error? Does that make sense
Say i buy something online from an individual not a specific store and they never send the product or the product wasnt what i expected? if i used paypal and there was such an issue, paypal in the past would handle that
Don’t do this unless you have total trust in the vendor. Sending crypto is like sending an envelope with cash in it.
So if you had x amount of BTC on an exchange and were using that buy an altcoin and the (buy order) transaction didn’t go through, the exchange most definitely could/would fix that.
Im not doing it, but just trying to figure out how crypto plans to handle this in the future if it wants to become a mainstream digital currency.
Eh, As a digital currency, purchasing goods/services from a private party... 1) not sure it’ll ever be widely used for that aside from drugs and stolen cc numbers, 2) caveat emptor.
So as a digital currency will it only be good for buying from trusted companies? Just trying to figure out how they have long term value if they can only be used in certain situations
If something can only be used in certain situations it can still have value, just not as much as it could if it could be used in more situations. You can't use gold in most situations, yet it still has value. To add to what DHMB said, its main use and value as a digital currency is that it can't be censored. That could be for people buying/selling drugs but it could also be for just about anything the government doesn't like, particularly in more authoritarian countries.
Really kicking myself, I meant to go big on iota and GRS a few days ago and didnt, went in on something else its down ...fuck me
I’ve been seeing IOTA a lot lately. But looks a little more complicated to buy. Might look into to it some more this afternoon and see if I can figure it out.
Ok. Someone who knows more than me explain why everyone isn’t day trading the shit out of this predictable volatility. Ex. At some point in the day there is going to be a high point of 11,500ish. Followed by a steep 5% drop before recovering a few hours later. What is stopping everyone from selling at the high and rebuying right after the dip. It seems way too easy to be a plausible strategy.
